……………At the beginning of the season I said to myself I’m not going to buy as many pansies as I did last year….but I did…….Then I said OK you’re not going to buy as many summer flowers to plant in the pots and the garden…..I didn’t listen to myself and bought over 170 plants…….Now I will wait for my credit card bills to start showing up!!! I’ll probably say the same thing next year! ….but when I try to cut back it looks so bare! I always liked an abundance………can’t help myself!

I love this time of year! Everyone is flying their American flags in my neighborhood. It certainly lifts my spirits and in spite of everything, we are so blessed to live in America!

Louis, If all those pots of colorful flowers make you smile and it makes you happy walking through the garden or looking out a window at them the money is well spent. You have created a peaceful haven in your beautiful gardens and that’s what we need in this troubled world. I’m a flower gardener too so I get carried away too because you just want to bring them all home.
