…………..I had my bi-annual visit to my dentist on 59th off 5th in NYC, and stopped to look at the Bergdorf windows….me and a whole bunch of other people!…….If I had to describe them I’d say they were SILVER and SPARKLY…..Lots of small mirrors on everything including horses with wings and roosters…..They were very pretty and a lot of work went into creating them….My only criticism would be they became a little repetitive……I give them a B+
Just curious – did you feel safe walking the streets of NYC? I am wondering because you see so much crime on the news these days.
Yes, I lived in NYC since was was 18 and going to Parson School of Design, until I finally sold my apt when I was in my 50s. I never once felt unsafe, and go to the city often. I would say it also depends where you are, and you should always be aware of your surroundings. Crowded areas like Times Square and Rockefeller Center where there are crowds are always invitations for pick pockets so always keep your money in a safe place. A cross body bag is always a good idea. Thieves will go to an easier target.
