“THE LIST”

HERE IT IS……THE LIST of the new OLO WHISPER KNIT SWEATERS. There are 8 styles and there are 9 colors. Not EVERY STYLE will come in EVERY color. I know someone will say, “why didn’t you do this style in that color”, and the answer is, “because we didn’t”. There was no way the buyer could buy every style in every color in all the sizes….it would have been astronomical numbers……so I am hoping you are happy with the choices “I” have made. I am sure you will find enough to tempt you……….REMEMBER…..this list is only the OLO styles………there are other WK sweaters that have been reordered that will get air time and are not part of this list…..such as….the turtle neck, the waist whittling sweater and the jewel neck tunic………………………………………………………………………………….

THE LIST:

1-A237402, the draped front cardigan: ruby, malachite, ivory, lapis, pewter

2-A237404, the tank: ruby, malachite, ivory, lapis, pewter

3-A237405: the jewel neck long sleeve basic: topaz, malachite, black, ivory, ruby

4-A237407, the surplice with the waist whittling ribbed band: violet, black, fuchsia, pewter, walnut

5-A237409, the shawl collar pullover, long sleeve, waist whittling ribbed band: pewter, ivory, walnut, topaz, black

6-A237410, the scoop neck peasant sweater: fuchsia, violet lapis, ruby, black

7-A237411, the V-neck tunic [same body as last seasons jewel neck tunic]: pewter, black, violet, malachite, fuchsia

8-A237412, the skirt: violet, malachite, black, pewter, fuchsia, walnut

Attention….the walnut is deeper than last years walnut, so they are not an exact match. From one year to the next, the factories can not guarantee exact matches…..it’s still a deep dark rich beautiful brown. Please if you have fit or length questions, I ask you to wait for the sweaters to be posted on the Linea QVC site. I am sure most of your questions will be answered better than I can. I do not have measurements and would only have to ask my manufacturer who will give me the sameĀ  numbers that are posted on the QVC site……………thank you………………..much Love, Louis

Hi, Louis. Re: the Ivory/Ruby suit coming in October—do you have the same response that you gave regarding the ruby sweaters and the sequined skirt—or is there one of the ruby sweaters that is a “must have” with the Ivory/Ruby suit? Thanks much.

Also, I am going to Paris Oct 2 to Oct 17—will I be missing the October shows!!!!

Dear sheesh…. All of the ruby Wk pieces will work, even the peasant sweater and the sequin skirt

    Dear Louis,

Thank you and the Q for these fabulous new sweaters. I LOVE all the new colors, and I’m so happy to see the topaz available in a jewel neck. Just by mixing these new pieces in my favorite fabric with my existing Linea, I will be able to make dozens and dozens of new outfits!

What colors will be available in the reorder of the jewel neck tunic, A228341? I see my favorite, the aubergine, in the photo with the coordinating leather jacket. Were the tarragon and walnut reordered? I can use them to go with last year’s wk pants. I bought multiples of them in every color, but I wasn’t fast enough on the tunics. This year I’m adding the V-neck tunics in pewter, violet and black. Darn that the cart can only hold nine items at a time! Thanks, again! I’ve had a big smile on my face all morning!

Two words about this sweater: Drool, Oink!

Hi! I’m making my columns of color… There’s a v-neck A217629 in Walnut and the new skirt. Will either of the existing cardigans (open front A233950 or v-neck A233940) have a Walnut color added?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No…this is it for WK….but there are many new jackets that will look great with the walnut sweater and skirt

  5. Kate

Oh, one more ? Have we seen any sort of sneak peek yet on the “shawl collar pullover”?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

it’s coming…..be patient…..Angela was wearing it when Brenda was wearing the peasant sweater.

Thank you LDO! Very helpful. Now we can move on to prodding for answers on Posh!

If one were planning on ordering the ruby sequin skirt, is there a sweater in ruby you would most recommend?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

That’s not an easy answer because I like them all…….the Turtle neck says….”I’m chic and I don’t care about mixing my day clothes with my sequins”. It’s a very sportswear approach to dressing, The V-neck also has that vibe, but it’s more sleek and sexy……..the peasant sweater is the dressiest and maybe the most expected but still very glam……..anytime you mix knits with sequins as opposed to silk, charmuse, chiffon…it always takes on a more casual sexy look. Do you know women who look like they just came out of the shower….thew on the sequin skirt and sweater and went out the door. it’s not an easy look to pull off…….but those who can…..HOT

Great answer. The solution, clearly, is one of each!

I think you need to add “ruby” to the list of v-neck sweaters?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I think you may be getting your V-necks mixed up….the reorder A217629, which is a more basic length, comes in RUBY. The new OLO V-neck tunic , does not come in Ruby. It would have been redundant to do both styles in RUBY.
