“A236144, THE SIDE BUTTON TUNIC SWEATER”

Aug 2013 show8

As you patiently wait???? for new new purchases to arrive, I thought I would post the last of the sneak peeks…..the one I didn’t post as a “show surprise”. A236144 is the WHISPER KNIT tunic with the WORKING side buttons. I always like the idea, that if you like, you can put your hand into your pocket without lifting the whole sweater……it has a very nonchalant look about it. The color above is ………BLACK……..All the the necessary measurements are listed on the QVC Linea site. One of my personal favorite combinations is…. CAMEL…with…BLACK…&….GOLD……..you really can’t be more CLASSIC or CLASSY than that! It is timeless and MODERN. Of course for the SILVER  LOVERS, which I am also, it’s just my second favorite…..just switch out the camel for the CAVIAR…..or GREY  PONTE….coming…………….the small photo of the MULTI STRAND NECKLACE, the TWIRL EARRING [sold out], and the new BRACELET….coming for the HOLIDAYS, is more of the actual color than the large photo…..actually maybe somewhere in between. I know you will get tons of wear with this new style WK TUNIC, as it really goes with so many things….leggings, pencil skirts, dress trousers,  maxi skirts and jeans. It also looks great with a hip or waist belt to change it up a bit…………….You can run the gamut as far as accessories are concerned…scarves, mufflers…long and short necklaces, broaches….you name it….this sweater can take it!……….enjoy…………..much Love……………..Louis

I am so disappointed that I missed this sweater– it sold out in my size in an eye blink it seems. Louis please tell us there will be other colors in this style coming?
thank you so much for designing such beautiful clothes.

Fairly new to the linea addiction–but, man does it ever got me good. Only been buying for 3 seasons. But Fell in love after opening and trying on WK fabric and luscious colors. Then i move on up to the leather jackets. Omg!!!! Personally I prefer the mixed leather and knit. I’m a busty size 10. This leather or suede knit jackets are the bomb. I want more colors–agree saddle or cognac would be yummy. Love jackets with lapels for me

Louis, I’m apple e shaped — larger on top and smaller on bottom. What looks best on apple shaped women and what should we avoid?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear CC……I’m a little confused by your description of yourself. For me, an apple is widest in the mid section, narrower in the shoulder and hip….creating a round or “apple” effect….I’m an apple…LOL What, from your description, sounds more like an upside down triangle. Do you have broad shoulder? It sounds to me your only issue is your chest size……not such an issue. Since I really don’t know what you look like, I would not want to steer you in the wrong direction, but I will say the type of bra you wear is paramount to how clothes are going to fit you. There are also minimizing bras that will help to elevate some of your fit problems. There are no rules about what you should or shouldn’t wear…..it’s really trial and error. Sometimes you may pass on a style because you think it couldn’t possibly work on you, and to your surprise it looks great. In general, but not always the case, I would say to watch out for clothes that hang from the bust without any shape below the bust…..this can create a tent effect that might not be flattering…..other than that….let you mirror be your friend…..and your husband!

    Louise,

Love the enamel bracelet! When will it be available and will there be any other colors?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Black/gold and black/silver…..not sure of exact delivery….end oct/nov??

      1. Dariann

Thanks, Louis. I am a gold person. My 2 marled knit tops arrived today and they are fabulous.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Dariann, by the way, it is not enamel…..there are metallic spacers between faceted round jet beads.

is there a matching necklace, I would love a black and gold necklace.

thanks Louis, I am having so much fun opening up my packages, so far this sweater just moved up to my favorite in black.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nikki….not this season…..just a beautiful jet necklace. One of my first necklaces for the Q was a beautiful black/gold necklace….alas it is gone, but I’m working on one for next fall 2014.

            2. nikki

Yes I know, and to this day I regret not getting it. I have learned my lesson. I hope you have one in Fall 2014. PLEASE….

              Thankyou

Louis, why won’t they bring back that gold and black necklace? I don’t understand the resistance—now that we all understand and appreciate the Linea jewelry, it’s an instant sell-out! I just hate the games the Q plays with the Linea customers…I could go on and on…but I’m trying to be just a little discreet. You should have at least one hour of an all Linea jewelry show. And while I’m on my “Linea” soapbox, how about a fragrance—the name “Jac” comes to mind—in a female shaped bottle with a gold-toned stopper!

The design of that bracelet is incredibly precious. As a gold girl, I know which version I am going to buy. Where do all your pleasing ideas come from? What a well of creativity you are.

          1. Goldie76

It most certainly is. Really, several women have responded to your creations as I have — it is like a beauty “high.” We kiddingly posted pictures of ladies fainting before the recent shows, but they were really not too far off the mark of how we are left breathless by the beauty of your work. The power of beauty is intoxicating sometimes. Not many can pull this off, but you do.

I just received this sweater, and it is a winner. I got it in black. It is very slimming, and the side buttons give it an edge. I was worried about the “bell” sleeve, but it is so well done that it is only a bit of a flair. And…my husband commented on the sleeves….go figure! Now, I await my asymmetrical suits. Can’t wait. Louis, you rock…but you already know that.

  5. Maia

I haven’t received my side button tunics yet, but I am thrilled you included a high neckline in this design! I can’t wear TNs and mock necks and don’t like Vs or scoops. So I anticipate that this sweater will be perfect for me! If it is, I’ll hope for many more colors! I’ll post my review on Q as soon as I receive my sweaters.

  6. Sheesh

Hi, Louis. What would you think of the of the Wide Stretch Cuff (the one in Black or Red) done in Root Beer? Sounds good to me!

    Sheila/Sheesh

  7. Ellen

    Mine should be arriving today!

  8. Kate

Well, as luck (or strategy) would have it, I can rock this ENTIRE look from earrings to necklace to tunic! That bracelet is lovely but thinking even better with more than one (2, 3?). Thanks for showing the claret with the bead necklace. I would not have thought to put those two together.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Morning…..definitely 2 or 3 if you are wearing them alone, but only one is necessary if you mix it with other things….like my gold panther link watch or other gold bracelets and jet or black bangles. The wine and amber bead necklaces works with lots of things….love it on topaz too.
