2/21 SHOW UPDATE!

Hi Everyone!
There have been some additions to my 2/21 show appearances. I will also be on the morning show with three items from this past Fall. The A210363, the Roma Ponte Knit stand collar jacket in Loden, Magenta and Sweet Potato. I’m glad to be presenting this jacket again as I will not be able to repeat this fabric. The mill that made it said it was just too difficult to produce and refuses to make it again…we did ask. This truly has become a collectors item in one season!  The second item is the A210353, the ethnic emb. jacket in the Red,  Black and Winter White. This jacket is for women who want something out of the ordinary and you don’t have to be an emb. lover to like this one. Certainly, it will bring on the compliments. The third item is A83571, the Leopard Print jacket in the brushed cotton. Many of the existing colors will not be coming back to make room for the New Aubergine come Fall, so this may be the last time you will be able to get it in the size you want.
Also, on PM Style, besides the new “Faux de Chine” safari jacket which came out to perfection, there will be  A87428, the  reorder cotton satin shirt in the new Chambray Blue. I will also be showing it on Jac in the Pink with the Perfectly Pink Boho……..a little sneak peek for my Ladies! Let me just say this…..if you have any thought of wanting the Boho in this Pink…..you had better wait list it now…..it’s that pretty….. and with the Pink shirt….WOW!

I hope to see you on the 21st. It’s always nice to know my friends are watching………..much Love, Louis

I was sooooooo very happy that some older pieces suddenly popped up in my size!!! So, I’ve ordered 3 new pieces and 4 older pieces that I really wanted, but were not available before in my size. YEAH!!! Now I can confirm that about 95 percent of my outfits come from Louis!!!! And from now on I ONLY purchase Louis’s beautiful, classy pieces!!!!!!

Hi Louis: Greatly enjoyed all of your appearances on the 21st! Beautiful, beautiful fashions. I wanted to ask this morning what tank or blouse Jac was wearing underneath the pink wing collar shirt she had on with the new coming pink boho skirt? The whole outfit was perfect and I’m hoping that the pink shell/tank/bouse she had on will be available in future in your line??? Can you say? 🙂 Many thanks.

Dear Nancy…..I knew I was going to get into trouble for showing that tank. Unfortunately, it is no longer avail. It was part of a TSV sweater set I did a few years ago. The cardigan had tonal pink sequins bordering the front and the hem of the sleeve. I can see with the popularity of my Perfectly pink color, I will have to do a tank next spring. I will have a Perfectly Pink shell in my new “Faux de Chine” fabric in Aug., that will match the Boho. The “faux de Chine is the new fabric I used in the safari shirt jacket I just sold yesterday on PM Style. It will soon become one of my signature fabrics. It has all the qualities of silk crepe de chine but it’s poly /span and washable. I have to say it is the best faux silk fabric I have ever found….especially at this price. They usually have a stiff hand and are inexpensive looking. I have the pink tank on my list as a priority for next spring!….best regards, Louis

Louis, you are a sweetie! 🙂 Thank you so much for the information. I’ll work at contenting myself with waiting for the “Faux de Chine” shell in August and be on the hunt for the pink tank next spring 🙂 I ordered both the straw and the khaki safari options yesterday (along with the olive boho and the pink boho on waitlist to add to my boho collection) and I can’t wait to see them all in person! Thank you to both you and Jac for always-upbeat and extremely informational shows, not to mention drop-dead-gorgeous fashion! Made my day yesterday.

If you make a pink tank, could it have ruching at the neckline? It always look so feminine than just a straight tank top. Thanks.

The color of the new medallion shirt on qvc is listed as khaki/sage, but you refer to it as olive/sage. Would it go with new mocha boho? I had put them both on waitlist, but am now thinking maybe the olive would be a better choice. I wanted to wear it with the new safari top in straw.

    Thanks,
    Peggy

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Peggy,
You are correct, the proper name is “Khaki/Sage”. The 4 predominate colors are Khaki, Sage, Olive and Straw. Then there are the yellows and golds in the scroll work. The Olive Boho would be a better match to this top. So if you want it to go specifically with the medallion t-shirt and the straw safari shirt jacket….definitely the olive Boho……..best regards, Louis

Your show was terrific, Louis! I spent the weekend cleaning out my closets, making room for all my new Linea clothing. I have decided that I will no longer purchase the other lines on the Q. Your clothing is the best quality, the styling stands the test of time, and it fits me the best! I spent the day (today) stocking up on older styles as well as all the new! And I’ll be ready and waiting for the March shows as well! The UPS man arrived with last week’s purchases around 2:30 today, so while I shopped I was also trying my perfectly pink blazer, new jewelry, and new tops on! What a fabulous way to spend the afternoon! I hope the Q continues to allow you to bring us Tall lengths for the long pants. If not maybe you could talk them into a little longer hem, so we can adjust them?? I also have a question for you…Will the red in A89794 red/white georgette ruffle top be a good match with the white/red piped pants coming up? (I’m still scheming!) 🙂 Your wife looked beautiful today, as well as the models – what a great knack you have for putting things together! Thank you Thank you Thank you for everything you do!!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Susan,
I am honored that you feel strongly enough about what you have received from Linea, to make the decision that Linea is all you will buy. I am very proud of the product and honestly, sometimes I just don’t know how we do it. After working in high end for most of my career, I am constantly surprised that my manufacturer and I can continue to meet the high level that is expected of the Linea Brand. I will also reach for the highest bar and will never compromise the product….as long as I have anything to say about it.
The A89794 red/white ruffle blouse looks terrific with the piped pant…..a heads up….the red/whit was not reordered as a color….so if there is one avail in your size, I would order it ASAP. The blouse and pant also looks fabulous with the reorder red/whit floral print jacket….very designer….not sure if that’s your look, but it is really great together….very editorial……….best regards, Louis

      1. Susan

Done! The blouse was available in my size in the red/white, and the jacket in red/white is available on waitlist. What a great idea! Thank you! I saw mention from your ‘ladies’ that there is a need for a pink tank for next spring. In my search for all things Linea, I ordered A9399 in the remaining colors in my size and they came yesterday. This is PERFECT! I love the style and the fabric and of course the fit is fantastic. If I had a vote, I would use the pattern and fabric for this tank for the perfectly pink version. I like the essential tank, but I like this one better. Thanks for listening and responding! 🙂

I would put $$$ on a raft of sellout today.

I snapped up the new safari jacket in two colors, the skirt in two colors and a few older pieces that miraculously popped up in my size.

I truly love the zipper detail on the skirt back. Will wear mine with the new white shirt, black skirt, patent belt, pumps–a nice work outfit from the front and a super sexy look from the back. Hot, hot, hot.

  6. Chris/Jazzmom

I have A83571 in the brown multi and I can say every time I have worn it into a department store, one of the sales help will compliment me on it and ask where I bought it. Last two times I wore it– JCPenney– an assistant manager asked me where I bought it when I was in their Catalog area and he said to me– now don’t tell me Kohl’s. His draw dropped when I mentioned QVC!! This past Friday I wore it to a Macy’s and the salesclerk in the coat department asked me the same question and she was shocked too!! It was a gorgeous day and now we have snow!! I love this jacket for its wearing ease in the spring/fall. It is my ‘go to’ jacket when the weather warms up or cools down. It looks so sophisticated on when wearing a pair of black jeans or brown twill pants. Thanks for a beautiful coat.

  7. Alexandra

I have the A83571 jacket in brown multi, and absolutely LOVE it. I also am checking every day if the new items are already available, so, I can order them quickly before they’re gone (like (I did with the new jacket on Valentine’s Day… I’ve ordered it early in the morning, and was glad because it was gone in pink really quickly). I also have a question for you Louis… would you consider making summer-spring pull-on trousers (full length) in synthetic fabric which does not wrinkle, and in summer colors (white, beige, etc.)??? Please let me know.

    Love your fabulous pieces,
    Alex

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Alexandra,
The answer to your question is yes. I will be doing a crop pull on elastic waist pant and a full length elastic waist pant. They will both be in my pebble crepe which I introduced last spring/summer in 4 styles. They were the big shirt, the jumpsuit, the long skirt and the long pull-on pant. The crop pant will come in black, sage, mocha and natural. The long pant will come in white, light tan and aquamarine. I will also have tops to match. I love this fabric and it is washable and hang to dry!…….best regards, Louis

      1. Alexandra

        Hello again Louis 🙂

Thank you for letting me know… Also, do you know when the full length elastic waist pants, and the matching tops will be introduced to us (or if you don’t know yet… would you please let us know in advance, like you did with the February and March shows)???? I want to pre-order (as usual) because I’m absolutely sure that they’ll go so fast, and I WANT to have them so badly 🙂

        Please let me know,
        Alex

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

          Dear Alexandra,
I believe the crop pant is on my March show and the long pant is on my June show. I will give you all the details and style numbers before the show air.
          …………………Louis

Don’t worry, Louis, you’ll be lucky to have any of those pink bohos to sell come March. We’ve all waitlisted it. I do have that pink blouse, too, so I’ll be interested in seeing them paired. Looking forward to seeing everything you’re showing. Can’t wait for the zippers!

  9. Peggy in Florida

Does that mean that all the ponte knit items will not be restocked or just A210363? I thought all the Ponte were the same knit.

If all, will the “essential” designation continue with a new suit?

    Thanks,
    Peggy

    1. louisdellolio

      Dear Peggy,
Since ALL the Roma Ponte Knit items are the same fabric, none of them can be reordered in this fabric. The fabric mill said they had too much loss when knitting the fabric and they don’t want to make it anymore. We are in the process of trying to find another. There are many many different qualities of “ponte knit” with various blends of yarns and spandex with many different finishes. IMHO many of them are terrible and cheap looking. Just my luck that the one I find is no longer avail…..the search continues!….regards, Louis

Thanks, Louis! I wait listed the boho inn pink as soon as it was up and already have the cotton satin shirt in pink. I look forward to seeing the sneak peek of the skirt with the blouse on Jac. Don’t know if I will be able to watch any of the shows, though. Old Grumpy and I are going over the mountain to the town and county which our branch of the family settled. Our annual reunion will be there each year and we are leaving Sun. afternoon to return Tues. afternoon to check things out there. But I’ll have my laptop with me so can check in that way. I bought the Roma Ponte jacket in Magenta as soon as I learned that you will not be able to bring back clothes in that fabrication. What a shame!!! Love that fabric, and fortunately bought a good many pieces of it when they were first presented. We’re off to hear Beethoven tonight and I’ll no doubt wear Linea, although I haven’t decided which as yet. But I always get compliments non matter which Linea I wear! As always, Barbara
