“THE BURGUNDY BLOUSE WITH TIES”

Linea Ponte14

The A228338, CREPE BLOUSE WITH TIES, is back in stock, and the new color being offered is…….BURGUNDY……a DEEP BEAUTIFUL WINE. This blouse has many wonderful details: The yoke, front and back with shirring, the shirred sleeve cap, which adds a feminine touch, the hidden placket front, the three button cuff, the side slits and the TIE STREAMERS. There are three long streamers that are stitched together at the center, so when you tie them around the neck you have six streamers hanging down the front. They are attached to the shirt with a loop under the back collar….so they are removable, which gives the blouse more versatility. I have it shown above with the VIOLET TWEED JACKET and the……..CAVIAR PANT………it looks wonderful under the RASPBERRY TWEED TOO!………On the shoulder is the broach, J273587 in the purple color. These pins are like chameleons …..they take on what ever color you place them upon. This Burgundy is a terrific accent color and will work with many things you may already own as well as more new things to come. If you have not purchased this blouse before, remember to read the reviews first. I do suggest buying your normal size. If the bust measurement seems larger than a normal shirt, that is because of the shirring, so naturally it will be, and it SHOULD BE………..scroll down…………..enjoy….much Love……….Louis

Louis, can I assume the pin is too heavy to wear on a WK sweater and should be worn on something thicker?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Andrea…..it totally depends how it is worn….for instance if you wear the ivory WK L/S jewel neck with the Lapis V-neck over it and you pin through both fabrics it works. If you pin it between the 5 strand necklace, which gives support to the pin…it works. Sometimes it just depends on the angle of the “pin” itself…….

You could be a costume designer, Louis, I’m thinking Annie Hall. Can’t you see DK and WA on a Manhattan street “arguing” as they walk, with her so stylishly dressed.

    What did she always mutter?

“La De Da”. Think I’ll wear khakis with it, like she did, just a little more fitted. Remember how her shirt tail always dipped below the jacket? Will the blue button down shirt go with the violet?

So this jacket can be worn with the burgundy blouse and the lilac blouse, the violet jacket is so versatile.

I ordered this blouse in Burgundy with my last order, Louis. And the broach should arrive any day now. It is also wonderful with the Burgundy leather/knit jacket as well as the Caviar pant suit for a dressier look.

Louis, is this the color that QVC is calling “burgundy”???
