“THE DOUBLE ZIP VEST”

Linea Ponte10

A237558, is the style number for the new…. VEST……The look is QUILTED, but it is NOT a quilted fabric. The fabric is actually a JACQUARD KNIT, so the diamond pattern is knitted into the fabric. Therefore there is no additional padding that is usual with a quilted garment……NO BULK!!!!….. The vest is very light weight and  maybe slightly thicker that the LINEA PONTE, but only slightly. Since this is a knitted fabric there was no need to line the garment and it has maximum STRETCH! There is a slight sheen to the fabric which high lights the quilted effect. My photos make the sheen look more than it is due to the flash. The vest has a stand collar. There is a two way zipper down the front so you can wear it a multitude of ways. The color above is the …………….CADET BLUE………which is a grayed blue…..very denim friendly The vest has PRINCESS SEAMS for shape, and there are invisible zipper pockets in the seams….look closely you may not see them! The color of the two way zip is GUNMETAL. This is a 100% polyester fabric, so it is totally washable. I love this worn alone, as above, with a black knit pencil skirt….the white Kate shirt and the new POSH KNIT ELBOW SLEEVE MOCK NECK in the RASPBERRY color………….I have some jewelry suggestions…..the SILVER or GUNMETAL SWIRL earring or the DEMI HOOP….the GUNMETAL HAMMERED LINK and BEAD NECKLACE, the SILVER PANTHER LINK WATCH…….THE LOVE KNOT NECKLACES or the MULTI CROSS NECKLACE and EARRINGS all work to create fun looks. Layer it under all kinds of jackets for a TOWN & COUNTRY LOOK…………………………………………..enjoy………………much Love……………….Louis

I wish we could get the whisper knit turtleneck in walnut since walnut ties back to so many of your fall jacket options. I’ve been on wait list forever for the other whisper knit in walnut, but the only other walnut option that is short enough for a jacket is the faux wrap top. Do you think that a wrap top would look O.K. with your jackets, or do you think it would be too busy or distracting? Thanks.

        Thanks, Louis.

This is a major winner! Love the zip pockets, two-way zip front, princess seams.

Thanks so much for these vests, Louis. I love wearing vests in the cooler weather (we have lots of that here in northern New England) but the ones that are available often look like I should be hiking the Appalachian Trail. These will be perfect for the workplace as well as for more casual occasions.

How would the blue Kate shirt look with this vest? I do not look good with white next to my face. I would also wear the blue Kate shirt under the navy V-neck WK sweater.

Dear Marilyn….the blue Kate shirt will look good…..it’s all that mens wear look so it all works.

    Hi, Louis-
Would this Cadet Blue vest work under the Sienna tweed jacket?
    Thanks!

Dear Kate….not really the walnut looks so much better.

I LOVE that this is flat but textured to look quilted; this is completely perfect for life around Annapolis where fleece & quilted vests come fall are practically a uniform. But MINE will be chic-er.

Combat boots, rolled up jeans, a l/s white tee, and a pile of crosses. That’s how I’ll be wearing this vest. So happy its not “outerwear” because I want to wear this indoors. What a great looking piece!!!

I agree, love that it’s not an “outerwear” piece. Only I’ll be wearing my jeans tucked into my boots. LOL Looks like a fabulous piece to own.

It’s definitely not an outerwear piece except for right now when this and a tee is all you need….more for the look….but come the cold weather it’s another light layer that will help.

What she said! I have enough life preserver vests for zero degrees; so very glad this is different.
