Oct group1

The ASYMMETRICAL HEM PONTE KNIT DRESS……A238536…….is now posted on the QVC Linea site for ordering. The dress is made in a slightly lighter weight Ponte knit that the sportswear. The dress has a beautiful JEWEL neckline…..perfect for all of the new necklaces…..such as the MULTI STRAND GOLD NECKLACE above….J284035. The dress has long sleeves to show off a beautiful bracelet such as my BLACK CABOCHON BEAD and GOLD stretch cuff…..J154281….this is a bold piece and one of my most favorite pieces…..but this is only for women who like to wear BOLD STATEMENT jewelry……I call these “runway” pieces……The FIT & FLARE silhouette is extremely flattering. The ASYMMETRICAL HEM is what separates this dress from all of the others, and gives the dress a modern edge…..definitely….a STATEMENT DRESS! The dress….”WALKS” beautifully, which means when you walk in the dress it moves and flows gracefully. I would love to see this dress worn with beautiful POINTY TOE, SINGLE SOLE [not platform], HIGH HEELED ….BLACK SUEDE BOOTS…or pointy toe black suede pumps. These are the shoes of the season…….SLEEK MODERN….CLEAN…….fabulously cut shoes and boots. It would also look great with black opaque tights and a sleek black suede shoe bootie. The dress has a back zip for comfort. If you are petite….this will be a mid calf BOOT dress……….This is a simple dress that makes a STRONG statement……the perfect ACCESSORY dress……..scroll down………………enjoy……much Love………………………….Louis

    Loiis,
Last year while on vacation in Paris, I wrote you to say how “spot on” you were with your collection. today, my husband and I were walking the high fashion district in Prague. Versace. Gucci. All of THE designers. What did I see in one of the windows? An asymmetrical hem black dress!!! I said to my husband, “this looks like the new Linea dress only the one in the window cost thousands. How lucky am I to buy Linea? Very. I wore my green malachite jacket and found leather gloves to match. Very Euro!
Thanks again. I love my Linea!

Lovely! I’m so conflicted about which color to choose–you don’t make it easy! I have the seamed jacket in all five colors now, so I do have those options.

What do you think of pairing the black dress with one of the ruffle trimmed jackets that came in the violet, ivory and black? Is that jacket too fussy for the clean lines of this dress? Or maybe your vintage tuxedo jacket? (or even the new one?) Or the black jacket with pearl buttons? Maybe even the puckered jacket? I’m trying to envision how I might wear this for an evening/cocktail dress. A blazer or jacket is really all I need most evenings here in balmy So Cal. (where if we see our breath at night we freak out and pile on the faux furs.)

I think it can work with all of the things you mention. It’s best with a shaped jacket and not too too long. The seamed jacket is the perfect length.

How about one of your leather jackets or the broadtail faux fur from last year?

It’s absolutely beautiful. Thank you for the time and effort you put into making these one of a kind pieces of art.

    Good morning Louis,

An obvious question: can the hemline be cut to be a straight across the front hemline?

    Thanks, all are quite pretty.

    Regards,
    Chris
