………………..This past Sunday I was invited to my nephew, and Godson’s 48th birthday celebration!……I remember when he was born!….He and his fiancee, Michelle, have an adorable house in Cold Springs Harbor….a lovely area on the north shore of L.I….I decided, since the end of the summer is near, to go all out and wear bright colors!….With his 6’5″ frame Matty towers over all of us including his brother Chris who is 6’1″. Matty looks very much like my older brother, his dad Mauro, while Chris looks more like his Mom’s side of the family, but they definitely look like brothers….. Matty was the chef and did all of the BBQ, while Michelle, made all of the salads and side dishes….It was all wonderful……Besides my presents to Matty….I made the birthday cake….my COCONUT CREAM LAYER CAKE…..It got great reviews! all but Chris who doesn’t like coconut, but Matty loved it, and it was HIS birthday…..Friends and family were invited including Michelle’s brother, wife and their two children, who spent the day in the pool!……The two bottom photos are of me and Danielle, Chris’ girlfriend, and Michelle and Danielle……A great time was had by all!
You have a good looking family Louis. Matty is a very handsome young man. You looked quite dapper in your colorful outfit. Not at all the Louis we watched on TV in a beautiful dark suit. We all knew you liked color, however, seeing you dressed in bright colors is like seeing another side of you – and I like it. You seem happy!
