No one ever has enough LBDs! I sure don’t, and this little number will be coming to me. Really cute dress!

    Dear Louis,

I own so many Linea pieces that would look great over this little black dress, and I love the hemline; have a plain black skirt with that hem and it’s a favorite. As a SHORT, plus size, I am a bit worried about whether this fabric has enough body to not cling and show every little imperfection on those of us who are less than svelte … even if the size is big enough to skim the body … would love your honest opinion? THANKS, Cathy in PA

Even though it is a heavier weight rayon span it still is a jersey. You may need to wear spans under it.

Thank you for the honest reply. Is this the same fabric and weight as the dress from last year, with the scoop neck, short sleeves, and belt … the one that came in black and berry?

Will the black shirt tunic A233187 look nice over this? Thanks.

I don’t know….I think it would depend on the woman….some can get away with anything and make everything look right….others may look awkward…..I can tell you the black lace jacket coming soon looks fabulous.

is this a new jacket? or the reorder of the black lace jacket with the grograin border

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

No, Nikki….it’s not new it’s the reorder

Since my size change, I don’t have a LBD…but now I will…so exciting for it to be a Linea. The gauze shrug…is that last years or is it coming?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Last years, but the WK shrug works just as well and that’s avail

Thanks, I’ll check into the shrug…how about the new black in the reorder cotton print sweater? or the white jean jacket? Can I treat this like a t-shirt dress or do I need to be extra careful about the high/low flounce?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sherry I think ALL of those would look great…..very different attitudes and very different looks. The ivory peplum jacket would look great to…actually the coral over the black would be wonderful. The kimono jackets in the the fuchsia and Caribbean blue would look fabulous too. There isn’t much that wouldn’t work.

Sounds like this little number is going to be fun to accessorize…thanks so much!
