You are either a “shorts” person or you are not. For Jac and myself, at a certain time of the season when it is hot hot hot…. the long pants get put away and the shorts come out…..that’s all we wear! A254311 is my new “SHORT” offering. If you own the floral shorts from last summer these are very similar….so you should order the same size. Even though they are basically the same style shorts in the same fabric, it is required that a new item has to be refit……Many of you KNOW THE FABRIC. It is the super light weight 97% COTTON & 3% SPAN blend. You could not wear anything lighter or cooler in the heat and humidity of the summer. Every single time one of the models puts on a garment made out of this fabric, [the floral shirt and shorts and the bird print crop pant and shirt were all in the same fabric], they OOH and AH over the comfort and lightness of these garments. The details of the shorts are the same….a zip and button front, trouser slant pockets, a flat front with a full elastic back…….The inseam measures approx. 11 inches…..Always check your “click here” measurements……There are a variety of ways you can wear your shorts….I have just shown a few. The matching SLEEVELESS SHIRT, A254313 gives the outfit a dressier, very sophisticated look…..add the GOLD WIND CHIME NECKLACE, J288015 and the matching earring, J288013, and you can wear this to any summer event…Since the earring is sold out I would recommend the BOLD HOOP, J288005, still avail. in the gold only…..Throw on the WHITE DENIM VEST, A252356, just to give it an edge, and a more casual yet still CHIC look. Sorry, Louis, I should read all the other comments before I comment. Just now saw that the sleeveless top won’t be coming in white and the reason, Thank you so much for the other colors, though. I just switched my closet over to spring/summer, and it is almost totally Linea. What fun I am having with your clothes. My husband just shakes his head when he sees yet another blue and white bag on the porch which has been left by UPS.
I think he would shake his head more if they were Saks or Neimans packages….LOL
Fantastic response, Louis! Had to laugh out loud (and I’m alone in the office). One of my sons sees my blue and white bags arriving with some regularity, and he has all but given up on counseling me. My reply to him: The contents (and my admitted weaknesses) are not illegal or dangerous. Therefore, I will continue.
What colors besides black and turq does the sleeveless shirt come in? Seems like I remember a white one in another sneak peek. I know I want the shorts in black and turq. Wore the floral ones a lot last year.

You have made me SO HAPPY with these shorts and sleeveless shirts. All my work and dressy clothes are Linea now and I have been building my casual Linea wardrobe. So thrilled to have these shorts and the colors are perfect!
If you get a reorder, I want to put a plug in for navy, olive, lapis, and red.

Dear Pamela…it has a slight curved shirt tail bottom….nothing exaggerated. There, unfortunately, will be no white. I have to do two pieces in the fabric to meet fabric commitments, and white shorts in this fabric would be too see through for most.
If the sleeveless shirt gets reordered for next year…is it thinkable to make the total white commitment in the sleeveless shirt? I for one buy a new white S/L shirt every year because I wear it so much. I think most Linea Ladies would purchase a white and then the other colors….just thinking…
