“THE ULTIMATE BLACK BODYSUIT”

ivory blazer10

All I can say about this BODY SUIT in BLACK is…………………WOW!!……………..Even if you think you can’t possibly wear a bodysuit……you may want to consider this body suit in the BLACK…..under a jacket, cardigan or a breezy georgette shirt tunic….you may surprise yourself…….The construction of this body suit is exactly like the white…..meaning……the body still has a double layer of fabric!……There is something important to understand about bodysuits! I give you a double row of snaps for an important reason. Not everyone’s torsos are the same ………some very short women have long torsos and short legs….they will need the longer length, some tall women have short torsos and very long legs….they may not need the extra length……This double snap position will also determine how much the vertical stretch will be…..which will also determine how deep the v-neck will be….so it will not be the same on everyone……likewise the armhole! If you stretch it more the V and the armhole will be lower….if you stretch it lessĀ  the V and armhole will be higher…..For instance….Jac likes to keep it on the shorter length to get a lower neckline………I know there are some women who just don’t like a bodysuit, butĀ  will like the top of this garment……….they have the option, if they so desire, to bring it to a seamstress and have the bottom cut off and have a straight hem made………there are many ways to “skin the cat”…………I know that saying applies, but what does it actually mean? LOL…………………………………………….

I that the skirt that matched to a double zipper ivory jacket with khaki piping on it?

I don’t remember, but I have only done two ivory brushed cotton skirts so it must be one of them….there is no waist band if that helps

The quintessential LDO look! I’m an army of one who would prefer a thong rather than a full panty, but that’s splitting hairs. Just a cool, classic, timeless look.

An army of two….I agree with you, but it’s hard enough to get a bodysuit accepted….a thong bodysuit…..I don’t think so. I do not think the fit models would appreciate it. I did them all the time at Anne Klein

      Army of two, Kate!

Do my eyes deceive me? Do I see a Navy Bodysuit with the Silver Fish?

Is the white skirt coming to us as well? Thank you for the idea of cutting the panty off; I’m out of proportion and end up with a baggy bottom in my normal top size. Great idea!

The skirt in the photo is the white boho which was not reordered this season….maybe next…..but I do have a fabulous white breezy skirt coming in June.

Thanks Louis, but the skirt with the black body suit is a short slim line with a low waist. I’ll look forward to the white breezy skirt as well.

Sorry….that’s a vintage brushed cotton Linea skirt

Can the vintage brushed cotton Linea skirt become a remake for next summer? We need a good white short skirt.
