“THE NAVY GEORGETTE TUNIC”

ivory blazer7

…………………………A254652…….is the style number for the new GEORGETTE TUNIC………This is a classic georgette/chiffon with a clean smooth surface, and it is definitely sheer………….you will need a tank or camisole under it. This is a perfect Spring/Summer tunic. When the temperatures rise, but you would still like to wear something with sleeves that will transition well from the outside heat to the inside air conditioning…….this is the piece you will reach for. The silhouette of the tunic features a…… HIGH/LOW ASYMMETRIC HEM……There are generous side slits……….When you walk the back of the tunic flows away from the body….as if caught by a breeze…..it’s a very gossamer look and FEEL. There are PANEL SEAMS….front and back….just to add a little shape to the upper part of the blouse to keep the fullness in control. This tunic has a  BUTTON FRONT, and a CLASSIC SHIRT COLLAR………The sleeve length is 3/4 and free flowing…………………..Above, is the NAVY TUNIC worn with the NAVY WK TANK, A252344 and the NAVY COTTON/SPAN LEGGING, A252344……It also looks great over a WHITE PENCIL SKIRT with either FLAT sandals or HIGH HEEL sling backs……Crop or Capri leggings or pants will provide the casual look for a more casual lifestyle….The accessories………PALM FRONDS………your choice of …….SILVER or GOLD……………………………………..scroll down……………………………..enjoy……………..much Love…………………………………..Louis

Louis can you comment on the relative shapes of the crinkle georgette big shirt and this new one? Should we order the same size? Is the fullness the same as the crinkled version? Can we pair these with crinkled dress or is that too much fabric?

    Thanks!

I would definitely recommend ordering the same size…..last years shirt dipped at the sides more to creat a more exaggerated asymmetric look….this tunic is longer in the back than the front ans not quite as dipped on the sides.

I apologize for another message… I think I figured out the navy leggings are A252344. I don’t have those yet because my size sold out right away, and they are no longer available on waitlist. Sorry if I confused anyone…Excited to receive the tunic though!

Louis, I ordered the navy georgette tunic, but I can’t find the leggings that you referenced in your blog. When I found item number A221797, it is a WK scoop neck tank – no longer available. Can you tell us a bit more about the navy leggings you have styled with the navy georgette tunic, please? Thanks! Deb

I think the numbers were mixed up–it’s the first item number above A252344.

I LOVE me some Linea navy! So, I’m in for the navy georgette tunic. Just fabulous! I’m with designista on the request for navy capri leggings. I prefer the cotton span capri leggings with the elastic waist. Over many years, I’m a legging lover and wearer whether they are considered “in” or not. I’m ALWAYS looking for deep, dark, navy leggings! Wonderful tunics such as this make leggings appropriate and chic in many settings. Thanks, again, Louis!

Thanks for posting the photos, ordered navy and white! Now, how about some capri leggings in navy? The rayon/span fabrication would be delightfully cool.
