It sure seems that this show has taken a long time getting here, but finally Friday is SHOW TIME! The shows are at 5:00am, 10:00am, and 3:00pm. I will be working with Ms Kobar, whom I haven’t met yet, Mary Beth Roe, whom I haven’t worked with in quite a while and look forward to seeing, and Sandra ,with whom it has been my pleasure to work with quite often. The line ups are done and the shows are set….I hope……I hate last minute changes. I have packed the garments that I will be bringing with me for the models to wear and there are three duffel bags filled with accessories. The chain jewelry will not be getting any air time, but it will be avail for selling. I will be showing it on many of the outfits for all of you to get a good look at. Remember, these pieces are “GOLD PLATED”, not gold tone…..a huge difference. The style numbers are.. J159965 for the necklace and J159966 for the bracelet. They are gorgeous and worth every penny…..true collectors pieces. I hope it does well because I would really love to continue to bring you wonderful pieces of jewelry. At last, the ribbed cardigan and tank have arrived for selling! I really don’t need to say much about them…..in navy and ivory… they are pure CLASS. The style numbers are A214007 for the tank and A214008 for the cardigan.
I think you are really going to enjoy the shows. The 10:00 show is completely NEW ITEMS!!! The 3:00pm show is also almost all NEW and some reorders….i.e. the mosaic peasant skirt. From what I have heard it has been selling very well from pre-orders….SO, If you want it…. a word to the wise! For my pebble crepe lovers, I am sure you will love the two new pieces. What’s not to love about a long pull-on pant in white, aquamarine and light tan. The lt. tan looks great with all the chain print colors. The new two tiered crinkle georgette skirt was a “customer request”. It is the solid version of the Ikat print skirt from a few seasons back……Can you believe how much Ikat print has shown up since?! The matching cap sleeve peasant top is perfect under the blazer with the french cuffs, and all the colors work….aquamarine, yellow… and the black is a must have under the ivory blazer with the black buttons. Has enough been said about the CHAIN PRINT! I am telling you it is fabulous! Many MAJOR designers have done a chain print at one time or another…..and I mean bold chain prints. I am not saying it is for everyone….but…..for the confident …it is a fantastic look. This is the last summer show with new items for the season. Next month we start transition or “pre fall”, but let’s not jump too far ahead, after all….summer hasn’t even officially started yet!!!
Well, there is nothing left to do but pack up the caravan and head on south. Jac and I look forward to “seeing” you and, with luck, hearing from you!

I am so envious of Chris/Jazzmom – by the time I got home to watch the shows via DVR, the gold trimmed tees were completely gone – not even a waitlist hope. I would have bought every color in a snap. The chain print skirt in my size in navy was also sold out, although I have been able to waitlist that. I had to content myself with buying some items from the last show that I had my eye on – the scroll top, the baby cheetah jacket in blue, and the animal print cardigan in blue (I already have it in natural and it is a gorgeous, gorgeous piece). Request: would you please bring us some solid color jackets to pair with your print skirts (hydrangea, chain print)? Pink, navy, and black come to mind. I like to break up the sets rather than wear the pieces together. Thank you.

Wonderful programs and the hostesses were great! I was glad that QVC offered the majority of items to purchase at midnight ET to avoid being shut out of our sizes before they aired on TV. I did purchase the pebble crepe pants in all 3 colors. I love the material as it is lightweight and looks good enough to go from an office setting to a barbecue and to church. I did snag the sold out now gold trimmed tees in the navy and pink colors and the chain print skirt in the navy color. I was fortunate to purchase the chain print blouse in the navy and ivory colors. Thanks for bringing your lovely designs to us. Enjoy the weekend and a happy Father’s Day. Regards to Jac and the ‘girls’.

I hope you and Jac had a safe trip back home. I know there were severe thunderstorms. I hope you avoided them. I enjoyed every one of the shows today, as always. Jac was her usual radiant self. I bought more than expected, due to your enticements. On some of the threads on the Q site there have been unpleasant banter. In the course of trying to tempt some of the Q ladies to your jewelry line, and the new bracelet and necklace, comments have been made on the board that your jewelry isn’t goldplated as several of us Linea ladies have stated, but only goldtoned. In the description of your jewelry on the Linea site of the Q it doesn’t say goldplated. It only says goldtoned. Could that be corrected? Of course several of us are already looking forward to the olive jacket and crop pants you teased us with today. Enjoy the next several weeks, and “happy father’s day”. After all, you have three lovely girls.

Driving home wasn’t too difficult. We were just exhausted! Doing that 5am show means we have to be there at least 1 1/2 hours before show time or they get nervous…LOL…..which means we have to be up at 2am. Of course I can’t sleep the night before because the mind keeps going and going. So, doing the 3 shows almost back to back leaves little time to rest. I have to work with the stylists putting the shows together which eats up a lot of in between time.
It seems the storms were always ahead of us. We could see the black clouds in the distance and the roads were wet, but we missed the rain, thunder and lightning.
I am sorry there are some women who are just contrary….I really don’t understand their anger. I have asked why the jewelry is being described as gold tone when it is absolutely GOLD PLATED. My jewelry manufacturer went through the process with me and assured me it the pieces went through a double process of plating. Sometimes it takes a while to get answers!!!!regards, Louis
I set my alarm, took the day off from work so I would not miss anything and watched all three shows! I think I bought one of each item you presented and two of the pebble crepe pants in white and tan and one in aquamarine blue. (I hope I got the right size, I did not size up). I am new to your line, Louis, and am in love with everything. You have such high quality and detail, just perfect…and the fit is wonderful! I so hope that I was able to vote with my orders and that you and QVC will have a continued long history. i will be watching a buying in July! The shows are July 13 and at 5 am and 12 noon central time, I think. Thanks again, Louis!

Louis, I believe you’ve outdone yourself, again! I ordered just about everything and can’t wait to get it home. And thanks for the sneak-peak at the new jacket with gunmetal zippers and matching pants! I know that this will be another sell-out! I was pleasantly surprised that QVC made ALL of the new items available WAY before they were shown on TV!!! That’s why I was able to order 15 different new Louis’s items!!! And even then, several of the items were on the waiting list, and I wanted so very bad to get the Cardigan With Pearl Embellishment, item number A198822 in Champagne (I’ve ordered it in Aquamarine to go with the pants), but the Champagne was not even available on wait-list. I HOPE so much that you bring it back to MANY of us who want it in Champagne so very much !!! I’ve also ordered the pull-on full-length pants that I was waiting patiently for in ALL colors, and I wish there were MORE different colors for those WONDERFUL and very HARD to get pants, I’m SURE that I and many other Linea ladies would purchase ALL of those colors!!!!!! So, I’ve got the pants in ALL colors, the shirt-jackets in ALL colors to go with the pants, the A198822 cardigan in Aquamarine, the chain T-shirts in Pink, Navy and White, the new White cardigan and tank, Navy cardigan, and some more items !!! I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your beautiful new pieces, Louis, and looking forward to get them home!!! By the way… your wife looked absolutely stunning today!!!
My DVR is set to record, I check the QVC website several times a day to see if any of the items became available, and I’m READY to start ordering!!!!!
