I did 100% silk 9in a crinkle georgette a few years ago and honestly the difference in look and feel is minimal. Certainly the benefits of the polyester make this a perfect garment to take away on trips. The fabric is somewhat sheer….so the skirt is lined in a light weight tricot knit. There are two side slits in the liner and with the amount of stretch….it is total comfort. The great majority of women who own this skirt say it is very comfortable and COOL TO WEAR. The skirt has four shirred tiers of fabric and comes to mid calf….this is not a maxi skirt and was never intended to be one…………….The waist has a full elastic so this is a PULL-ON skirt. The top tier has just enough fullness to get over the hips……not an excessive amount….The balance of each tier was mathematically thought out to perfection.
