**********UPDATE***********

I am happy to tell you the SWING BOUCLE JACKET will be on the Morning Show with Leah Williams……….Saturday…….OCTOBER 11th…………The colors again are ……..BLACK…..NAVY………HUNTER GREEN……BRICK RED. I would also like to remind you, if you are interested…….the whisper knit pant in the …NAVY….&…..HUNTER GREEN to match [black is almost sold out], plus the WK scarves in the HUNTER GREEN, BLACK, BRICK RED and Nutmeg [a wonderful accent color to H.G, Navy and Black] are also avail. It has just come to my attention that the WK TN is now posted in the Hunter Green as well as the Navy and Black. Ladies to have a jacket, pants, sweaters and scarves all dyed to match doesn’t come down the pike to often, and at this point I think I’m about the only one who offers it……You could never go wrong or look more sophisticated dressing this way………………enjoy………much Love………Louis

“I don’t know however if I will be able to continue this which would be sad.”

Dear Louis, this statement distresses me. Do you mean that the head-to-toe matched items won’t be kept up or you will not continue? I could make do without one but, I fear, not the other (i.e., your departure from designing and selling fashions).

The world changes, I know. I just returned from my hometown, which, when I grew up, was similar to the “good town” in “It’s a Wonderful Life.” It was almost that small and it was quaint. Of course I’ve seen it as it has changed through the decades since I return often, but today took the cake, as they say. Suddenly, with the gentrification of the downtown area, something I once applauded, it has become mini-Paris. It just doesn’t fit. Every third person is walking a dog, and block after block has outdoor dining extensions from the restaurants. I don’t know. The town has its stamp from its early German (primarily) and English settlers — and the place just isn’t French. 🙂 (I don’t know; it struck me all wrong, somehow.) Life moves on, doesn’t it? But I miss what was.

Anyway, you’re not going anywhere, are you? Sure hope you stick with your ladies and keep creating.

No…if you read anything in what I wrote to lead you to understand that….I’m sorry to upset you…..trust me I’m not going anywhere !

Thank heavens! This is welcome news.

    …as you point out…

Because you (and, most likely you alone, a you point out) offer these gorgeous and SOFT dyed-to-match garments, we Linea Ladies must count our lucky stars! Thank you so much, Louis, for bearing this banner for those of us who prefer such an indescribably rich look.

By the way, not that every one of your clients is “of a certain age” (I know the general age range of a few and they are not in my age bracket), I notice that in films, whenever an older woman is dressed to convey good taste and refinement — and exude a sort of “class” (hate that word, but there is no substitute) — the woman is dressed in garments that are the same color. It can be a dress and coat ensemble or sweater set or coordinating sweaters and skirts, there is a oneness about the dressing. Just an observation of mine.

    Thank you again.

Dear Goldie….this look of head to toe dyed to match knit dressing is very in right now and is a look that many designer have embraced…….designers like Michael Kors, the Row, Ralph Lauren. In the 70s it was THE look made popular by Halston…..cardigans, tanks, pants T Necks etc.in cashmere knit and matte jersey were all over. I don’t know however if I will be able to continue this which would be sad.
