If they reorder the BOUCLE SWING JACKET, good chance, what new color would you like to see? I’d like Winter White, but I don’t know if they can do this fabric in WW or even if they would…..so what new color?

Louis, the costume designer often dresses Kerry Washington in white and light neutral coats in the TV show, Scandal. I’m always taken by how well they play off the darker neutrals below. I think Winter White or Bisque (as close to WW as wool manufacturers would allow) with gunmetal buttons would be fantastic. Olivia Pope often wears an off-white wrap coat by Ferragamo that is fantastic and one by Armani that has big gunmetal or charcoal shell button (couldn’t tell which on the TV). On a couple other episodes, she wore a pale dove-gray-blue one (just the slightest hint of color in the white). What I noticed most was how versatile the lighter coats play off her neutral wardrobe and still pop any fashion color she accessorize with.

I don’t wear swing styles, but I’d love to see a powder blue (not pastel–more saturated) in a winter outerwear piece. I’ve looked for years and never seen one, and it works with browns, greys, and black. I love the idea of winter white, but I don’t think I’d be willing to buy a coat/jacket that wasn’t washable in a white.

Winter White is my first choice IF it can be done. If not, then aubergine.:)

Louis, are we talking about my fave, A238159, or A257286? I guess if “swing” is the key word, it is the latter. If so, forget my choices of walnut or aubergine as I do not do well with swing jackets. However, I do well with the “Button Front Closure Boucle Jacket.”
