I just received the lace jacket in perfect pink. Do you think it can be worn with the smoke boho skirt? I am putting a wardrobe together for a trip to Italy in the Fall. To cut down on luggage, I am trying to go with a black and gray color scheme and I was hoping this beautiful jacket would fit in. What do you think?
Yes….gray and pink look great together. Either wear an ivory or gray tank….like the one that goes with the smoke safari shirt. I don’t think there are any smoke tanks left….maybe the Posh Knit is still avail.
I realize that “it’s always something” (it’s too short; it’s too long!) and I realize you’ve done beautiful jackets for us tall women, but I agree somewhat with Sharon, especially on this particular beauty (I’m not necessarily too old for the look, I just don’t like it). The way you styled the navy lace is so sharp that I’m downright envious of the women who can wear it! It’s simply gorgeous, Louis.
Louis I would love to buy one of these jackets but they are to short for my body. Please could you make jackets longer because I don’t like the longer shirt with a shorter jacket. I’m just to old for that look.
Sharon, I’m right there with you on the length issues. I adore the look of this jacket and planned to order the black & navy, but I’m now rethinking it. Perhaps if I wear the jacket over dresses, it will work. Hate to pass up this beauty!!
It does look great over dresses and the pink shell from the safari shirt does not hang below the jacket. The only time I see it as a problem is if you are extremely long waisted.
