………………..The WING COLLAR SHIRT, A259103, is finally back in stock!!……and the LIGHT TAN is the NEW COLOR……If you are a cotton shirt lover as I am, and you haven’t tried this shirt yet….you are missing out on something really special. This is only the second time this shirt has appeared [sold out the first time around], but it already has a legion of followers. Out of 48 reviews….45 give it two thumbs up!……….The LIGHT TAN is a FABULOUS color, and I don’t say that lightly. A beautiful tan is a difficult color to achieve…….a little too yellow and it looks sallow…..to grey and it looks dingy…..to pink and it’s just not tan anymore………it may be pretty, but it’s not tan……….THIS Light Tan, for me is perfection, and very flattering and versatile….it just works with everything. Above, I have it paired on the left with the BLACK LEATHER/RIBBED KNIT BLAZER, A228554, and on the right with the WINE PONTE HOODED BLAZER, A237551…..both with the SLIM LEG KNIT PANT, A265615, in the PALE KHAKI. The shirt and pant almost match exactly, and makes for a wonderful column of color to be worn with all kinds of pull overs, cardigans and jackets. Pale Khaki is only one bottom color you can wear with Light Tan……you can literally where any color bottom, or jacket or sweater with this neutral tan……….If you are knew to the wing collar shirt…..first, it is made in my signature cotton/span fabric that I developed and is exclusive to Linea. Due to the FINE TWILL WEAVE the fabric has the perfect weight for a quality shirting….not too light or too heavy, and not SEE THROUGH…….Secondly, it has a wonderful body skimming fit….in all sizes…..due to the Princess seaming, but it is the WING COLLAR that is the magic here! It is just the perfect size, the perfect angle and works, flipped up, like no other shirt collar…..not even the KATE shirt, which I also think is perfect for different reasons. The collar just sits on the neck and extends outside of sweaters and jackets perfectly….If I am using the work “perfect” or “perfectly” to often to describe this shirt….I simply can’t help myself….IMHO…it’s that good……But you can decide for yourselves……It ‘s like potato chips….you can’t have just one……………………………………………………………………………………………….

Mine has arrived and it’s beautiful. Of all your cotton blouses, this is my all time favorite style. The Robyn was a great shirt and I have many of them, but this one is really wonderfully chic with a nice touch of sexy. Would love to see this come in a darker color, too.

Sure love this new color! This shirt is also a favorite of mine and I’m happy to see the blue reappear, which sold out in my size the first time around. I also love the Kate shirt, but the wing collar is very special. I agree with Carol–it’s a “nice touch of sexy.”
I am in Carol and Grace’s corner on this shirt, too. Not a blouse/shirt girl at heart, this one struck a positive chord in my ticker. Think it has to do with the “nice touch of sexy” factor. 🙂 Somehow, this shirt gets the curves right. Perhaps that’s it; it follows one’s shape while having the easy fit of a sweater. LOVE!
Dear Goldie….that’s the “key”. Big shirts have their place and they are all about concealment and comfort……but the wing collar shirt is about the body and attitude…..from the Wing Collar to the shape of the shirt….did definitely separates the man from the woman!
