“SNEAK PEEK #6”

Sneak Peek # 6 is my new TRIBAL AFRICAN PRINT CARDIGAN, A221816, This cardigan/jacket/draped top is made out of the same poly/span jersey as all of my printed T-shirts as well as the new JERSEY PULL-ON PANT, A221815. This top comes in 4 different colors, ESPRESSO, NAVY, OLIVE and BLACK [not pictured]. Of course, this is an unlined, easy fly away top that slides over everything. You can wear the olive with your: OLIVE tank,  short sleeve mock neck, turtle neck and long sleeve V-neck [pictured above]. For bottoms try your: Olive boho, olive crop cotton pant [pictured above], olive gab trousers, your sage or natural pebble crepe pull-on crop pant from last season or the sage pencil skirt. All of the sand bottoms look great too: last seasons sand pebble crepe long pull-on pant, the two sand pants from this past Dec and Jan. plus the sand long pebble crepe pull-on skirt…..it will also look great over your faux de chine safari dress in olive…..enough options? I think so and that’s just off the top of my head. I’m sure you can come up with a lot more. Under the Espresso, I have the espresso tank with coffee bean pants. The espresso peasant skirt, the sand pieces and all the pebble crepe pieces in coffee bean and natural work beautifully too…..don’t forget the new espresso pull-on jersey pant was made to go with this top…..keeping everything fluid. The navy has that every day chic look….paired with jeans and THE NAVY TANK…..I told you the navy tank was going to be VERY important through out the entire spring summer season, It also looks great with the navy acrylic/wool A09484, pencil skirt for a dressier look. This top looks great just easy and loose or for a sexier more dramatic look, try belting it over a pencil skirt. The black combination has white and pale gray in the back ground and I am showing it with the WK black tank and a black pencil…..great for the office, or dinner out. This is one of those perfect items you take away on a trip….easy to pack….easy to wash, and you can wear it with so many things in so many ways. I know you will enjoy coming up with your own ways to wear it…………Love Louis

Good grief, this is a hot one! …or is it just me burning with desire? Whatever it is, I love it, especially that pic with it belted. As soon as everyone sees this on Jac, it will be another inventory gonner.

    Dear Louis,

One more color question – does the espresso have any copper, bronze or gold highlights? If so, I might need 3 of these tribal print pieces! I also understand that African prints will be at the top of the fashion scene this year. Thanks for bringing them to your Linea ladies!

It is a very dark, deep espresso…..I can’t really say it has any of those highlights or any at all.

The hardest part will be deciding what tribal print color to purchase.

Louis, the is a FABULOUS fashion piece – it makes quite a statement that I adore! Does the navy have a purple cast to it? I might need to purchase 2 of these – the olive and the navy or black.

    Bring on the jewelry,
    Dariann

Hi Dariann….that’s a hard call, but if I had to decide if it was more of a purple navy or a green navy….I’d say purple….but make no mistake it’s blue. I had a feeling you might like this top. I’m so glad you do…..regards, Louis

    Dear Louis,

This top is the perfect addition to the Linea wardrobe, in all the right colors! I am so excited about it. If we could just get QVC to commit to more of your jewelry (belts and other accessories, too). I will keep pleading on the Fashion Forum! Thanks for sharing another of your amazing visions.

Louis, THANKS so much for doing this in olive. I was looking for something for Spring to give a new look to all of my multiple olive tops and pants from Linea. And I guess I’ll gave to get the espresso, too, since I have those sienna pebble crepes from last year. You never cease to amaze me with the versatility of your designs and the care you take to co-ordinate the new with pieces we already have from Linea!– Blinddogs
