………………..WILLIAM FREIDKIN…..a brilliant director is dead at the age of 87…..He directed some of the best films ever made….two of which are …”THE FRENCH CONNECTION”…..and “THE EXORCIST”……….The Exorcist was one of the scariest movies I have ever scene, and I’m sure I’m not the only one!….He also made two of the most controversial movies ever made……”Cruising” with Al Pacino, and “Boys in the Band”…….His work will live on for ever.
…………………..Gisele……..one of my favorite models…..She wasn’t “classically” beautiful, but she moved like a gazelle! She had a great body and a wonderful personality……This fall show in the late 80s was at Lincoln Center. Her jacket and vest were in a wool jacquard from Italy, and a salt and pepper tweed skirt. The shirt was white silk……..Gisele has something that was hard to define…..She was just a natural!
……………..”THEN & NOW”………..Matty…..Jeannine….and Chris….Time passes by so quickly!………The insert picture at the lower right was taken the evening of Jeannine’s prom……She was wearing one of Jac’s Anne Klein dresses of all over tiny crystal beads…..I called it “Cracked Ice”……Matty was probably about 16 and was already towering over his siblings! Chris and Jeannine have blue eyes like their mom, and Matty has pale yellow hazel eyes like his dad. They are fun to be around, and they love listening to my many many stories……I keep them entertained…..”Uncle Lou….tell us one of your stories”.
……………Introducing……..BELLA……she is my nephew Chris’ Bernese Mountain Dog……She has the sweetest personality…..The pics to the right are from when she was a puppy, and the one at the left is her today….She loves watching other animals on TV, and will just sit and stare. She used to bark, but now sits quietly and enjoys it. She loves being with my brother and they have scrambled eggs together for breakfast…..She follows him everywhere. My brother, who never had animals until his grown children started bring them home, has become a softy, and in spite of himself, they all gravitate to him….he loves it!
………………..Angela made me an “uncle” again! He’s a baby Doberman Pincher, and his name is Bodhi…….He’s such a ham already posing with a flower in his mouth………Those EYES!!!
