……………………..On July 23rd, 1948, at 11:43 PM…….I was born at the Midwood Hospital in Brooklyn………My Mom told me it was a relatively quick birth…one hour after she arrived at the hospital I came into the world…..When my mom went into labor my father was MIA….She had to send my grandfather around the corner from where we lived to find him. He was playing cards with some of his buddies!……My mother also told me it was one of the hottest days of the summer, and of course there wasn’t any air conditioning……She told me I was a “cherub”, and a very good baby in spite of the heat!……That was 3/4 of a century ago!!!!………….75 years!!!!!………….Happy Birthday to me……………………I know Jac is sending me lots and lots of hugs and kisses.

……………………..It’s difficult for me to even comprehend the 75 years that has passed from when this picture was taken to today………approximately 27,376 days…..75 trips around the sun all seam to be abstract to me, and yet it is the sum of my life up until now…….So many many experiences I have lived through……..unfortunately, so many forgotten, but I have no complaints……If I could have one wish on my birthday it would be that Jac was still here to celebrate it with me, but we learn that we can’t always get what we want in life……so I must be grateful for what I do have, and I thank God that I’m still here…………so Happy Birthday to me!
