……………The IMPORTANCE of a SATIN SHIRT!…..There is something very special and very unique about a fluid satin shirt….it is pure luxury, and feels on the body like no other fabric. For those who think satin is strictly a fall/winter fabric you would be mistaken…..The sheen of a satin shirt in the spring and summer adds a beautiful silky texture to any outfit… The satin has a semi matte finish, and is not extremely shiny. It has a SENSUAL feel on the body like wearing expensive lingerie….This is NOT a flimsy fabric….The WEIGHT and DRAPE adds to the luxurious feel when worn……I truly believe a BLACK SATIN shirt is an ESSENTIAL item in everyone’s wardrobe….A beautiful black shirt is not easy to find especially one that will not fade and will always maintain the deep inky black color….These satin pieces can be very dressy or worn casually depending on how you put it together……Casually you ask? Pair it with jeans and voila…..dressy casual!…..I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…….there is nothing more CHIC…..ever…..than BLACK, IVORY and GOLD………Here you have the BLACK Matte Satin Shirt, A374709,  and Tank Tunic, A374664, worn with ivory pants and an ivory skirt, both with GOLD accent jewelry. The Gold Grecian and the Midas necklace with the black beads add just the right amount of glamour………Belt them or not….that’s up to you….Wear the shirt or the tank on their own or combine them as a shirt jacket and tank, or the tank under the buttoned shirt as a layering piece…..I’m partial to gold, but black and white can take any metal color…..Silver, Chocolate, Verdigris, Gunmetal, and Shiny Black to name a few…..I love the Midas necklaces, worn with the RADIANT GOLD HOOP EARRING. The cuts in the metal hoop look like the bugle beads, so they work really well together for a more exotic look…………Of course I am only showing you one way to wear the shirt and tunic, but the options are limitless for day and night…..For instance….try them with the new embroidered skirts…..your SEQUIN PANTS for a dressy look with a CASUAL ATTITUDE…..How’s about a color crop pant like Linen, Yellow, Red, P. Pink on and on and on…..Bring on the PRINTS…like the FLORAL CROP or the long WOOD CUT pant……….Now you see just how these pieces can work for you…..true investment pieces, and they are totally washable!………………………enjoy……………………much Love………………………Louis

………………………..Here are just a few other ways to incorporate the BLACK SATIN blouse and TANK into your wardrobes. It’s the perfect coordinate with your tuxedo jackets and sequin pants. Wear it with a pair of JEANS with the sleeves rolled up for a sexy casual look. Wear it as a dramatic accent to your color jackets like your Scarlet Red and Caramel blazers…….I love it with the Ivory plaid blazer with either black, or ivory pants and JEANS……perfect for Spring…. Think of all the prints you own that you can wear with these black pieces. A Black satin shirt will add some pizzazz……The Black satin tank can be worn with so many things and is the perfect camisole….above with the Desert Kimono and tuxedo jacket….Have you been looking for just the right layering piece to wear with your tuxedo jacket? ………………………The second color to be offered in the Satin Shirt and Satin Tank is………………..LODEN……………….and yes it will coordinate with all of your LODEN and MOSS pieces….Due to the fabric they may not be a perfect match to other Loden pieces, but the slight variation of color all coordinate perfectly, and in my opinion make it more interesting……You know I love anything that hints of military or SAFARI [I’m going on one this August!!!!!]. This Loden matte satin shirt alone or with the tank, combined with the LINEN PONTE PANT, A302601,[which is being reordered!], or any real linen or flax pant you own….is a safari fantasy. The shirt looks fantastic belted in an exotic material like Lizard or Crocodile……I can see Ava Gardner wearing this at the camp site in “Mogambo” taunting Clark Gable……..It will also work perfectly with the Loden Faux suede pant and any of the other Loden pants that are avail. Hint…..a crop Loden pant will be coming too……Khakis and flat strappy sandals, espadrilles and wedges will add a casual look to a satin shirt…………..There are so many ways to accessorize the Loden color. I have chose three of the new offerings. The GYPSY COIN necklace and earring in the center, and at both ends the new GRECIAN necklace and earring in the CHOCOLATE and VERDIGRIS colors……both unexpected on Loden, but equally beautiful!……………There is just something so sexy seeing a woman wearing a languid satin blouse any time of the year!…………………………………….enjoy…………………….much Love……………………..Louis

………………………Loden is a great base color as the Loden pants are, but can also be a wonderful accent color. There are  few examples above. From the left….the Loden shirt and tank [ worn under the low buttoned shirt as a layering piece] with the Moss plaid blazer, and the Loden faux suede pant. The Loden Sante Fe necklace and earring, J485358, adds just the right CASUAL touch to complete the mood…The SUEDE CORDS of the necklace gives the necklace a ruggedness that keeps it from looking too precious, which gives it a more casual look….Loden as an accent to Scarlet Red is a combination you may not have considered, but they look great together, and it’s a nice alternative to black……The Loden shirt worn open as a shirt jacket over the tank with the new reorder Loden crop pant is next. I have accessorized this outfit with the olive SPIRAL NECKLACE, J479227, and the PINEAPPLE pendant, J479225, both in Fern……The simple tank [nothing simple about it in satin] over the new crop pant and the GYPSY COIN NECKLACE & EARRING, J485284, is next. Three simple pieces make a walloping strong statement! A pair of fabulous sandals [maybe leopard from Sam Edleman], and a large straw tote is all you need to give yourself a fabulous summer “look”!….. To prevent any chill throw on the unlined LODEN CREPE GAUZE BLAZER, A366195. This is the perfect weight and easy construction for spring and summer…..It’s like wearing a cardigan…..The Loden over ALABASTER, or any light color bottom…..again brings us right back to the “Safari” look….Again, add a little animal something…..maybe a chiffon scarf!….Loden as an accent to CARAMEL returns us back to fall with a terrific autumnal look. Add touches of wine, cranberry or port to add a third accent. The 15 strand PEARL necklace and earring, J484168, in the WINE, Cranberry, Loden and Gold is perfection with Loden, and it one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES…..It’s a beauty and should not be overlooked…………I really can go on and on, but I know you will have fun mixing the Loden satin pieces with things you already own……………………….enjoy…………………..much Love…………………………Louis

……………..Buttercream continues as one of my newest, and favorite colors for Spring 2020…………The TUNIC SHIRT, A374709, has classic styling with a shirt collar and button stand, a button front, a cuffed sleeve and side slits…..It is sized xxs through 3x….The MATTE SATIN fabric makes ALL the difference. The fabric is not flimsy, and the weight of it gives this Buttercream color the richness it needs. It is not see through at all!!!!…… You can wear it alone as a shirt, or layer it over things you may already own. The shirt has REAL SHELL DTM BUTTONS……I have paired the shirt with the matching SATIN TANK TUNIC, A374664. For a column of rich color you can wear it with the matching BUTTERCREAM SUPER PONTE PANT, A268216, or over many things you may own. In the photos above, to the left is the ESPRESSO faux suede pant, A366199, accessorized with the new MIDAS and TIGER EYE necklace which picks up the brown color………To the right I have paired the Buttercream set with the SMOKE GREY PONTE pant and the new GYPSY COIN necklace. The silver ox coins looks great with the smoke pant!…..NAVY, KHAKI, TAN, LODEN, IVORY, PORT, TAUPE etc. are just a few other colors that will look great with buttercream…….It’s time to play!……..This is a season-less fabric and color, and can be worn all year long……..It also looks great with the new EMBROIDERED TULLE SKIRT! You can even wear the shirt alone with the emb. skirt…..sleeves rolled, and tied at the waist or tucked in with a black patent belt and black patent sandals………….just food for thought……I hope I have convinced you that BUTTERCREAM is indeed a NEUTRAL COLOR and can be worn and mixed with many things you own….I know that the women who have already received this color in either the Faux suede jacket or Super Ponte pant have already learned just how versatile a color buttercream is……..One of the things they have found most surprising is how COMPLIMENTARY the color is with their coloring…………………….enjoy……………….much Love………………………..Louis
