……………………….Once again gODFREAKo has beat me to the punch!!!…..That little devil!!!……..So….there’s no reason for me to hold this sneak peek any longer. As you can see I will be offering you a new “SWING” DENIM JACKET, A265536. The “body” of this jacket was styled after a very popular item that is now being retired after many years….the A87434, swing Hounds Tooth Check jacquard cotton jacket. You can tell by the very short style number just how old it is! …..The first color I’m showing you is called……………FLAG BLUE………………Remember, these are denim fabrics so the colors will not be solid….They show a little bit of the white coming through. We call this new jacket and the now vintage Hounds Tooth jackets “swing”, but that really that is not accurate. A swing jacket actually has more spread at the bottom, so for us we will call it an A-Line jacket as the H. Tooth jacket was. This jacket has the same DIAGONAL SEAMS with inseam POCKETS in the front. At either end of the pocket is a STUD. This is both for decorative purposes, and to reinforce the ends of the pockets. The back still has the INVERTED PLEAT, which still has a 1/4 inch TOP STITCHED to keep a SHARP EDGE. The sleeves are still 3/4 length and have a split turn back cuff. This jacket has a shirt collar, and if you like, stands at attention perfectly. There is a placket down the front with SIX SIGNATURE BUTTONS. All of the hardware and buttons on all of the colors is GOLD…..I can hear the sighs now…LOL…no silver?….next time. My manufacturer would love me to use more silver……anything but gold which is way more expensive!……..This denim jacket, as all of my others , is UNLINED, and very light in weight….so….when you have to put your other jackets, and denim jackets away because they are just too heavy and warm….this one can still have more life, because it can be worn later into the season…….If you are in the majority of women who liked the “swing” Hounds Tooth jacket, then you should like this one too. I would recommend buying your normal size. The only measurement that would be important is the shoulder width. There should be plenty of room for all of my pears and apples……The jacket, in the XS, is approx. 27 inches long…… On the bottom I have the new WHITE DENIM CROP PANT, A265539, which my friend gODFREAKO has also spilled the beans on. It will be avail in WHITE and INDIGO only.
When you get dressed each day, you should always add something that will amuse, or bring a smile to your face….or even shock. It can be a pop of color, such as the NECTARINE WK sweater [avail in either the A233952, scoop neck s/s, or the A233944, V-neck s/s]. There are limited sizes in both styles. A scarf, a trouser sock in an amusing pattern or color, footwear like a fun sneaker, a piece of jewelry….like the GOLD FISH PENDANT, J278128….. would all do the trick……you get the idea……something that will make YOU FEEL GOOD, and will bring out who YOU are…..Something that your family, friends, fellow workers or even strangers will look at with appreciation……Otherwise we might as well wear uniforms………………………Have FUN…Spring is here!!!………………………………………………………..enjoy………………………..much Love……………………………….Louis
