“THE BLUE/GREEN ISLAND PRINT”

………………………….This print will always bring back good memories for me, so for me it is special…………I know this has been the season of jungle prints, and I have seen some of them advertised in catalogs and on QVC. What I think sets this one apart is the refinement, and meticulous way this design has been laid out and printed. You won’t truly appreciate it until you get it home. Photos just don’t do the colors justice. This is a placement print so on every dress,  in every size, the flowers will always be centered in the front tapering to a V which is very slenderizing. The fabric is my exclusive Poly/Span. This is the same fabric as my OMBRE TUNIC and quite a few tops that I’ve done in the past. I would easily say that 90% of the styles done in this particular jersey have been reordered. This fabric is made and printed outside of China. Why do I do that when everyone else has the fabric made and printed in China……because this is a fantastic mill who learned from many Italian printers that they collaborated with over the years. They learned from the best, and we give them my most difficult prints to make…..The dress will come in two lengths, A308469 for the reg. and A308468 for the petite…….Check all the measurements on the QVC Linea site………..To accessorize I have used the Carnival necklace in the green, and the blue looks wonderful too……….The greens and blues of the Island print are the colors from Anguila……There’s nothing quite like them……………………………………………………………

………..enjoy……………….much Love…………………………Louis

I was so happy to see this dress, Louis! It’s absolutely beautiful……so much so, that I ordered all 4! I, too, love Anguilla and have been there twice – both times, I stayed at Cap Juluca, which is fabulous! So, I’m not at all surprised that the lovely island of Anguilla was the inspiration behind these beautiful dresses. Thank you for creating such beautiful designs!

Even though I love the Blue/Yellow combo, I think I like this one — for me — more.

The second I saw this blue/green combo, I had to have it. So gorgeous! Thanks, Louis. You did it again.

Omg this dress is so beautiful I immediately thought of Hawaii, St. Maarten and Anguilla when I saw the print. I know I don’t need another long dress but I am so drawn to the blue/green I immediately thought of my green carnival necklace when it posted on QVC to wear with this beauty the same way you are showing it and I would wear one of my wide straw hats. These beauties will not last I am sure.

Mine arrived today. I chose the navy combination. It is lovely! It fits true to size and is very flattering. I will wear it during an upcoming trip to Hawaii.

Louis, this print is indeed a tropical paradise all unto its own. My initial thought was that the flower placement resembles a lei, but I see the shape of a heart, which you’ve carried over to the back of the dress. Whether intentional or not, I see the heart as a symbol of the island you loved, but most importantly the love of your beloved with whom you shared the beauty of the Anguila.
I’ve ordered mine and can’t wait for it to arrive!
