    Hi Louis
The Caramel is a great color flattering on both blondes and brunettes. I already ordered the caramel turtleneck and own the caramel sweater with the embroidered sleeves in preparation. I am looking forward to the faux suede pants as well as the trench coat. I am hesitating on the leather jacket as I own so many leather jackets that I do not wear enough.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Joanne if you don’t wear them don’t buy it. It’s silly to have it take space in your closet and not get worn. Leather should be worn!…..Like a car needs to be driven.

  2. Barbara Bratle

    This collection and color…the bomb.

  3. Frieda

Thanks Louis. I love every piece. Although I am 1 of many, I feel like this was designed for me personally. This is my style and color.

  4. morganjen

Louis, you have the best taste in colors! I love it when you do these earthy tones.

    1. Goldie76

      morganjen,

Louis is the undisputed “King of Color.”

  5. Romy

Hello Louis, I was wondering which if any past whisper knit colors would be close to the caramel pants, such as pecan, camel, nutmeg? Thank you.

  6. Nancy from CT

WOW! Those are the best dressed mannequins I’ve ever seen. Absolutely stunning. I can’t wait until they’re available to order.

  7. Enjay

I’m insane about the trench! For once, I will NOT be buying the black. What a knockout look!

  8. Pamela

Call a medic!!! My heart just skipped beats. LOL .LDO you are THE BEST on QVC and beyond. Rock the caramel!love Pamela in the SS

What a gorgeous ensemble!!! If I didn’t live in FL…

I may have to get the leather caramel jacket anyway. So rich. All the colors are beautiful and tempting. For me it’s between the caramel and olive. The magenta is stunning! Every time I see it on Brenda with the WK dress my jaw drops. It’s just too pinky-blue for my coloring. But those who can wear it, I’m envious.

Thanks for the sneak peeks. Looking forward to your shows. Safe travels!

I hadn’t read any comments and had settled on writing two words — “absolutely stunning”– but I see my gal-pal and partner in clothing crimes, Grace, already called this coat “stunning.” So, it must be stunning.

This is the trench coat that is calling my name.

    1. Goldie76

Obviously, I am mesmerized by the trench coat. The way it took the color Caramel is the way my coloring can wear it. I will not be able to ignore it. The other pieces are equally fab.

    2. Grace

Goldie, lol…I cannot think of a better Linea gal-pal and partner in clothing crimes than you! When I first saw the long trench this morning, I even gasped a little, so we could add “breathtaking” to the mix of words describing this stunning coat. The challenge for me, now, is trying to eliminate a color. I’m craving them all–black, red and caramel. Oh my.

      1. Goldie76

Thank you, Grace. We can be on the bad-girls bench together. Ha ha!

I agree that “breathtaking” is an excellent way to describe what one senses when looking at this new trench coat in Caramel. I, for one, am “sticking to” the Caramel.

I’m still reeling from what I discovered a few minutes ago from my Ancestry.com profile. They’ve refined their investigative tools, and I am no longer European Jewish. Just in time for Rosh Hashanah.

Now I’m 86 percent “Southern European” in the Greece/Balkan/Turkey sense of the word but 12 percent Italian. I knew I my love for Italy derived from something at the gut level. Not sure I have faith in this ethnic profile either, considering it is such a dramatic rearrangement from the last one they gave me.

        1. Grace

Goldie, I forgot to check back and see your reply!

I wish I could be singularly focused on one of those colors in the trench. Will be a tough decision for me. That caramel is simply gorgeous and will look beautiful with your coloring! Then, you may need to get the caramel carnival necklace 😉 Just think over all black how striking that would be. Don’t mean to enable you, but just sayin!

And, what a lovely surprise you got from ancestry! That 12% Italian was there all the time for you, it sounds like. When I did my DNA testing, I held my breath a bit in anticipation before seeing the results, not knowing what unexpected lineage might turn up. I was hoping I had a little French in there with my Francophile tendencies lol. Mine was totally predictable–Irish & a little German. A friend of mine had a bit from everywhere, which was a shock, but made her smile. Hope you’re enjoying your new found Italian connection 😉

          1. Goldie76

Grace, I am hoping that there is a strong brown presence, rather than yellow, in the trench. You are absolutely right. How gorgeous that Caramel trench would be over all Black. However, I look dreadful with Black close to my face during this period of my life. It is so odd now; these days I never know what color will surprise me and look flattering on me. Some that look good on me now, I was unable to wear in my prime. And, of course, the opposite has proved true, like Black.

As for the DNA analysis, at least you had a touch of German. How wonderful to be Irish, though. I always think the Irish as the “Mediterraneans of the North,” what with their high feelings and sensitive, poetic natures.

Regarding my Italian heritage, they have me pinpointed down to two towns and an Island: Vatican City (they make babies there?); San Marino, which hosts the annual music festival in Italy; and Malta. Ancestry.com stated that they have gone from 3,000 to 18,000 participants for their gene pools for the regions I’m from and were therefore able to refine their analyses of all of us.

My last 2% for my DNA belonged to Eastern Europe and Russia.

            1. Goldie76

BIG oops! Sanremo is the site of the annual music festival. My gears are slipping…

San Marino is an “enclaved microstate surrounded by Italy.”

Methinks Ancestry.com did not get it right this time either. LOL

            2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Goldie….it is true that the caramel looks incredible over all black, but it looks equally incredible over all Forest Green, Port, Navy and H. C. Grey to name a few.

  11. Kate

A classy monied look. Who wouldn’t want to look like that. I think you told us the trench is next month. Are the new faux suede pants this month or next month as well?

    1. Louis Dellolio

The coat, the TN and the pant are next month. Not sure when

  12. Grace

STUNNING!!! Love it all, Louis, but that LONG TRENCH!! I will be ordering the pants, turtleneck and leather jacket, as well. The caramel color is so classic and definitely a color in my wheel house, too! Safe travels today and we’ll all be watching your shows!

  13. Seka

Louis! The colour CARAMEL is SPECTACULAR! Love it! And the Long Caramel Trench Coat – WOW – this may be the very first time that I do not buy the Black option – and buy the other two colours – RED and CARAMEL!
You are definitely correct with the cost of equivalent items at Retail. It would cost over $2000 for a similar Burberry Trench Coat – and the quality and style would not be better than your Trench Coat!
Thank you for everything you do for us!
    Seka.

  14. Somersault

Louis……….BRAVO! BEAUTIFUL! KNOCKOUT! The entire complete outfit has my heart aflutter! Oh, how I wish I didn’t live in Florida because I would purchase all of it but I will have to chose carefully due to our warmer weather. I can see Jac wearing this on the runway with a beret! Beautiful color, beautiful color! There are not enough words for your talent and style. How very blessed we are to have you. Thank you doesn’t seem enough! Drive safe, today and I hope your day is better than yesterday! You, always, shine in my book. Just remember, You are WONDERDFUL…………actually you are FABULOUS! oxoxoxoxox Cat

    1. Bernadette

Ditto!!! I could not have said it better! Except I would have put Houston in place if Florida. Although it is the same sentiment since it’s hot and humid here too!!!

      Hugs!!!

  15. Ceicei

Wow. I already received the leather jacket. Beautiful. The trench is gorgeous. I own three but will probably get the red and caramel. I am ordering the necklace today and will get turtleneck and pants. Louis, I think I say this every season, but this year’s collection really is the best. Thank you.
