“DECEMBER SNEAK PEEK #5”

“December Sneak Peek #5”, is A230030, an ABSTRACT PRINT top. The jersey fabric is 96% RAYON  and 4% SPANDEX, and is very soft against the skin…….almost like powder. If you own my draped top in the Violet, Teal or Black….. you will know what I mean. Abstract as well as digital prints are the most CURRENT TRENDS in printing. For me it’s adding another texture to the mix of fabrics and colors. The top is 26 inches long and has long sleeves. The V-neck stars at the center back with stitched down pleats which release at the shoulder. This gives a beautiful drape down the front, but it is not overdone. It also gives a little extra room if you are larger on top. As you can see from the photos…..it looks great simply worn out, or belted. It also looks good tucked in if you should want to try it worn that way…..especially with the matching skirt [next Sneak Peek]. For my travelers…..this is easy to pack, and it is practically wash and wear. This is also for those among you who are not particularly “print people”, but are always looking for something to accent  your solid pieces………this is it……………The colors are ………………………GREY…………..CHOCOLATE……………COBALT……………….This piece will be on December 27th on Q Check with Amy Stran…………………………..enjoy…………much Love, Louis

OMG LOUIS! My chubby size large, 5’6″ self just received my cobalt top and skirt!!! I look very nice in it, I’m so excited. The fabric us soft and drapes fabulously….I’m so happy! I will of course post my review but like to wear it first before I post. Wow….having a great looking outfit makes us feel like a million bucks. Thank you…..means a lot to me.

Perseverance pays off in ordering this time for me! Somehow I was finally able to order the new print top in cobalt and also in chocolate, the print skirt in cobalt, and the pencil skirt in chocolate. Doing a happy dance for sure! Thank you again for your beautiful, classic designs! Linea ladies know how to hang in there and get what we want definitely!

Louis… QVC has done it to you again. They’ve messed up the ordering. When looking at items that have been Recently On Air last night for PM style, since I was only able to catch you presenting the jacket (bought 2 for me and 1 as a gift), nothing showed. On the “Q” Community site, all the women are besides themselves, since many of them couldn’t even place an order, and even had trouble when they called CS. Some of them reported the problem. Hopefully all will be fixed soon. They are SO INEFFICIENT there…. you would think they needed a team of NASA scientists and engineers to get things right. A little less concern for cheapening products to make money, and a little more efficiency, would serve them well (and I’ve shopped QVC since the 80s… oh for the good ole days when they really offered the Q and the V !!!). Can’t wait to see you Jan 7! All the best.

      Dear nyc1,
I have no idea what was going on but I knew there was some sort of snafu going on. Still not sure exactly what the problem was. Whatever it was, I’m glad you were able to get what you wanted! It’s really a great jacket……I know you will love it.

Love the Cocoa and Black combination. This is an unusual color match and so chic. And, in the spring, I think you can pop this over your white jeans and wear the cute gauze coverup in black.

    Dear Louis,

I hope that you and Jac celebrated well on Christmas Day.

You probably have me hooked on this newest set; cobalt will be my choice. I like the lines of it very much.

The abstract print top in the cobalt will work, but there are no sol8id cobalt top0s. I much prefer a contrast of black or ivory/white to show the cardigan off to its best.

Thank you so much for your replies about cobalt top and earlier the topaz jacket. The scarf idea is just brilliant. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the time you so freely give us. I feel like we are all in your fashion class, trying to create on a personal scale while we see you create in the world of fashion. Thank for sharing your knowledge, wisdom and creative juices. When will there be a top or sweater in the ochre gold? Thanks again for your generosity.

Another home run, a must have! Are they any WK cobalt sweaters or solid tops coming? If not which blues would go? the mallard?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

new york karan………as of now I do not have cobalt as one of my new fall WK colors, but I’m still working on the colors for fall 2013.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sorry for not answering the second part of your question. Mallard would definitely not go with the cobalt. Actually, I much prefer black or white/ivory with the cobalt than trying to find a blue that ill be compatible.I think the cobalt should stand alone and not be compromised with another shade of blue…..do you know what I mean??

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Saw your question about ochre, but it’s disappeared??? If you mean the topaz….not sure yet.
