“HAPPY LABOR DAY”

………………………Usually Labor Day is a day to rejoice. The last big Holiday of the summer season…..Some may even mark it as the end of summer since, for the most part, summer house rentals are over the the kids go back to school……What a different message this Labor Day has for me! All I can think of are all the many people who work every day to protect us and service us…….the HEROS!…..Who would have thought a year ago Labor Day what would have been in store for not only us Americans, but the world………This Labor Day I want to thank all of the scientists, doctors, nurses, and essential workers who take care of us every day……….As we go about our sequestered lives, I can only imagine what their daily lives are about! I pray for all of them and thank them for everything they are doing for us……Their labor is never done………………God Bless……………………..much Love……………………….Louis

    Amen Louis!

Hope you are enjoying your day. After two days of working out in the yard in dreadful heat, I’m being lazy today. Managed to get a nice group pic of my cockers I wish I could share. It just started pouring so thinking of taking a nap with them. LOL

And per your permission, I ordered the WK blouson sweater in black. It was the last one in XXS! I was so excited to nab it. And then, it went to backorder. Grrrrrr. Fingers crossed I get it.

I know you have lots of goodies coming up, but I can’t wait for your compass necklace. All of your pieces are truly special, but some really speak to me, like this one.

Thanks for making me feel beautiful (and broke). I really blew my budget this month. 😁

Amen to that. My eldest son and his wife are two of those front line hospital workers, and believe me, I thank God every day that we live in NYS and that they continue to stay healthy. November can’t come soon enough. Everybody, please; wear your masks like the patriotic and responsible Americans we are, follow ALL Dr. Fauci’s advice, and we WILL get through this terrible episode in our history. We can’t just continue to wear our beautiful Linea only to the mailbox and the grocery store, it’s just TOO ridiculous, and these wonderful clothes and jewelry deserve to be SEEN.

Louis, your words speak volumes–this Labor Day is even more meaningful because of the frontline, essential workers. Without them, we literally wouldn’t survive. I’m so grateful for all they do so selflessly. Hope you treat yourself to a day of rest and relaxation. You deserve it for all your hard work & dedication. We appreciate all you do!

I fully agree with your sentiments, Louis. One can only imagine the personal sacrifices and the bravery that such heroes command from themselves daily or almost daily.

Like you, I am very grateful for their tireless and selfless work.
