    Louis
The black with silver skirt as well as the Latte Skirt have arrived. They are both so beautiful. I had already owned the Vivid Blue which is also beautiful.

I am looking forward to your cheetah blouses and moss crepe cross over blouses. They also looking wonderful

Never a problem to support Linea. I LOVE your exquisite work more than I can express and admire your talent, skill, and eye for just the right colors, fabrics and exquisite fitting designs. And jewelery!!!! Now I’m settling in to wait for the arrival of my grey and my bisque pants and looking ahead to my new navy and my new bright pink blazers in late Nov/ early December. And for a time the wretched shipping won’t be such a big deal. I am also hoping that soon it will be safe to have at least a trio of my favorite models showing the clothing maybe 4 of them rotating in and out again. Wonder how many QVC package go awry each year? Each month? Each week?

  3. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Profound thanks Louis for saying that the QVC model, who is pictured and also did a short no-sound video in the same boucle jacket, was wearing 1 or 2 sizes too big. I did not say anything before as I did not want to come over as too nit-picky or in any way critical of the model. I thought it was swimmingly big on her and it gaps around her back shoulder blades and I immediately hated it…..except that I already loved the bisque color combo. After you explained why it looked big on her I felt validated and freed up to go ahead, based on measurements, to go ahead and order it today. Many thanks for that help! I also spent time on the phone today running down an order of the fleece lined knee socks which got sent to someplace in Alabama and were rejected by whomever got the package. Remember I live in Maine, so that was wild. It’s been well over a month and they have disappeared. Then I ran down the chocolate version of the tassel necklace which has been many days sitting somewhere obscure. I am still waiting for the grey pants and the bisque pants. I ordered the grey weeks ago when all the big deal items came out and the bisque about 10 days ago. They are sitting somewhere in Fontana, CA. Sigh. When a Linea package finally makes it I shrug when my DHubby asks what it is. I have no idea. Things get lost. Some show up and some don’t. But I was REPEATEDLY TOLD TODAY BY SEVERAL CS REPS THAT QVC HAS NO IDEA YOUR STUFF IS LOST UNLESS YOU CALL IN AND SAY SO. THEN THEY CAN CANCEL THE ITEM AND BEGIN A REORDER ON THE SAME EASY PAY YOU ORIGINALLY PURCHASED IT ON IF THAT PERTAINS. I think that is really important to know. “Wait,” they told me, for 6 to 10 days and then, if it either doesn’t ship or got stalled somewhere for many days, you can get a replacement on its way. Sigh. All part of the covid mess. LOVE all the Fall clusters WK and TCF. I really LOVE that TCF fabric – riding jackets and skirts for example. Magnifique!!!!

Dear Nancy….I am so sorry for all of your shipping problems! If it were in my power I’d ship them myself, but I have nothing to do with the product once it’s shipped to QVC. I just don’t understand why they can’t get it together. I ordered a bunch of items from Chewy.com for my pups 2 days ago and it all arrived today. I ordered Holiday table cloths and napkins from Williams and Sonoma 5 days ago, and they too arrived today. It makes no sense that a company which relies on delivering product ships in a way that it can either take a few days or weeks….if it doesn’t get shipped to the wrong party or lost….the mind boggles. They can’t keep blaming everything on Covid 19. Other companies are managing, and managing well. Again, I that you for supporting Linea.

Louis, Thank you for the video detailing the beautiful Embroidered Skirt. The close-up of the Silver Gray embroidery is what I wanted to see. I ordered the Skirt yesterday to get the Free Shipping.

    Seka.

    Hi Louis!
Since 4/19 I’ve been dealing with a family member who has serious health issues. The pandemic is just another pile on and life has been exhausting.
Your fashions, videos and words of wisdom have helped me to see that taking care of myself and dressing up make me feel better.
    Thanks for all you do!

    Louis. Thank you! Thank you!

I already own both the latte and blue from last year

Have the silver on order. Watching the mail!

Watching for the sequin pants to be made available.

Am loving my red tartan blazer.

I’m dressing up at home, even if there’s nowhere to go.

Your clothes make me feel beautiful!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Thank you….that means everything to me…..that’s why I do what I do……I remember working at Anne Klein and even at QVC….I couldn’t wait to see the clothes on the models where they came alive to me. I whish I had the opportunity to see my clothes worn on my Ladies, but that doesn’t happen often enough…..These days my trips are to the supermarket and drug store.

    Hi Louis
Loved the video and appreciate that you do it for us.
Lou does a fabulous job zooming into the garment areas as you discuss.
I took your advice on this gloomy rainy day. I am wearing white ponte crops, one of
your aqua sleeveless tunics and the duster in blue.
It’s perfect to flutter around the house and sit on screened porch having a glass
of wine, listening to the chirping birds and the sound of the rain.
I feel festive thanks to your designs. It does not take
more effort to dress in your nice clothes vs sweats.
Keep the videos coming- I’m looking forward to the topper and turtleneck ones…
    Sarah

Thank you!!!!!!! You said exactly how I feel. Every word !!!!!! Thank you.

Shay, RBG was also a hero of mine, a champion for women’s equality and social justice…a great loss. Regardless of political leanings, Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a trailblazer and someone to be admired. A devoted wife and mother, she was also a woman who styled her black robes with collars in lace and a variety of jabots (many sent to her by fans) to occasionally convey meaning, as she did with her famous “dissent” collar and her crocheted “majority opinion” collar. RBG was one of a kind and made a difference in the world. RIP, Justice Ginsburg <3

As Auntie Mame would say: Life’s a banquet and most poor b……d’s are starving to death. I love that you afford me the opportunity of banquet living! I loved the video but for me…..it was fascinating to see the embroidered fabric before completion and in all it’s glory. How beautiful! It, truly, takes a designers eye to conceive how to use it to it’s best advantage. To create a scalloped bottom and insure that it doesn’t unravel is not as easy as one would think. But you are known for your details and to offer us something so beautiful within a moderate price point is mind blowing. I am so appreciative of your talent and your love to see a woman beautifully dressed. There is only one Louis and you ARE wonderful! oxoxoxoxo Cat

    Good morning, Louis.
With the passing of my hero RBG yesterday and the traumatic start to the school year, it’s important to remember life’s silver linings (in our silver embroidered skirt). I’ve been dressing up everyday (not for parties, but to go to school), and it helps remind me of better days behind and ahead. I am so tired of being admonished to dress casually and comfy (which in some lines translates into the clown look). “That is how everyone is dressing these days”. Not me, I am dressing UP, not down. RBG always did, as she kept fighting the good fight. I can try to follow her lead in both. Be well, and thanks for the reminder.

  12. Laurienda

Dear Louis, I told my family about your suggestion to plan a dress up event. We are going to have a dress up Thanksgiving this year. I had thought about that, but hearing you say it really helped me to realize it is a great idea. We do feel better when we make the effort to celebrate life. Last year I bought both of your beautiful embroidered skirts. I did wear them to Christmas eve at our church, the symphony and ballet. One day, I just wanted to wear one so I put on boots and a TCF jacket with one and went out for a glass of wine. Thank you for the beauty that you create and share with us. Beauty is sometimes overlooked when the world has too much sadness. I hope that many of us will follow your advice and dress up to celebrate life.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Laurienda….we need to shift the thinking of so many people who only hear negativity. I am happy to hear I bolstered your thoughts on dressing up to feel good…..it’s a small thing what it could start a shift in the thinking and feelings of so many people. Women rule, and men take their lead.

    Hi Louis!

I have the luscious latte and haven’t worn it yet. Kicked myself for not getting the beautiful blue too. Now just debating if I should get the silver. This is such a gorgeous piece of art…

I have been fortunate enough to be able to work from home since April. It has been especially nice since two of my dogs are fighting cancer. I’m not sure how much longer my girl can hang on, but I’m glad I have more time with her. However, throughout all this, I have felt like such a bum. Wearing leggings and t-shirts and a baseball cap to hide my hair if I have to go out. Last Sunday I took my cockers to visit my dad. While I could’ve gone in jeans and a t-shirt, I instantly felt better when I put on my makeup and one of my favorite Linea tops (the fuchsia floral print top with ties) and black pants. So this video hits home. We need to create our occasions. This Thanksgiving I may dress up a little more than usual. Same with Christmas. Dressing up, looking pretty, and feeling good does wonders for the soul.

Your blog, your videos, and your knockout clothes have been an especially nice distraction from some crummy stuff going on lately. I hope you know how much we all appreciate all you do for us.

  14. Cathy Morton

Well, I took your advice, Louis. I ordered the embroidered skirt in latte along with the sleeveless black turtleneck. Although I usually order the regular length, I decided to go with the petite. I liked how you paired the skirt with the bisque cardigan and tank. I will wear it that way for Christmas Eve services if I’m able to go. I will wear it with the black turtleneck on an up coming cruise, again if I am able to go. You are right that we need to dress up sometimes. I enjoy it. It helps with our mental health and soothes our soul! Thanks for reminding us!
