“THE SILK PAISLEY BLAZER & SILK SEPARATES”

…………………………Etro was and is still today the “King of Paisleys”, and that’s where I went to select my paisley print. It is the FINENESS and delicacy of the printing that makes all the difference. The clarity and fine lines that Etro could print would have to be double in thickness in any other printer’s hands. Prints are very personal, and what one woman loves may not be for another. As I always say, “not everything is for everyone”, and that is very true about prints. For those who loved them it was nirvana. The silk paisley above, styled in a longer, one button blazer with a breast band pocket and two bottom flap pockets, was in navy, cream, camel, bamboo and a berry red. It is mixed with an ivory silk shirt, a berry knit tank and navy gaberdine pants……The silk separates to the right are the navy silk jacket, the ivory knit tank and the berry red wrap sarong which came with a self fabric belt. Famke is wearing the blazer in berry silk over a navy knit tank and white linen pants……….Fresh, clean and modern, timeless.

Sarong? I don’t think it gets any better, especially
the way you have combined it with the easy , oversized jacket. And the paisley jacket , so elegant. It reminds me of an oversized foulard print, a smoking jacket. I still have my oversized “boyfriend” jacket, looking down at me from the highest rod in my closet. It’s a blue, navy and tiny bits of fuschia TWEED! The last time I wore it was on a gray, dreary day, with one bright spot!!!
I decided to go to a semi-famous open air mall. It has one loooong Street with a trolley to take you from the shops to the yummy “Market” run by “FARMER’S”. At the other end are shops such as UGG’s, two Michael Kors, one with bags , one with bags AND clothing and
    DVF, amount others.
So, I wore the jacket, that is just the length of this one and if that wasn’t enough I wore some 4” shooties in navy patent,
Because they matched the navy suede collar of the coat! So I’m trying to cross this street, (I only wear 4” shoes when I’m going to be sitting) with the trolley
Approaching, but as I looked in front of me all I could see was the tops of heads though the drizzling rain, except in the distance coming toward me another head
That was sticking up above the others, and as she passed by we sort of glanced at each other—there was nothing to block it, and we laughed inside but never broke our serious expression as we passed each other in the light
Rain wearing our high heels, towering above the crowd.
Oh, that day, I have no idea why I went to the Grove but I remember I was going out to get my nails done.

Wow, I love that paisley print! You could take that same print and make a man’s smoking jacket with Navy lapels. I hope somewhere in the world at least one man is still wearing a smoking jacket!
