………………I LOVE WHITE COTTON SHIRTS!……During my career, both at my 20 years at Anne Klein and my 20 years at Linea for QVC, I designed countless numbers of white cotton shirts…..Some designers like Gianfranco Ferre always had signature elaborate white shirts on their collections……For my Resort 1991 AK collection, at far left, a wrap notched collar version with PIRATE sleeves worn with a navy cotton jersey short skirt….is all cinched together with a wide elastic belt detailed with navy leather and gold turn key closings…….On the right a cowl neck cotton jersey dolman sleeve top in dark Navy worn with easy white walking shorts in cotton jersey…..All of the accessories, and belts were made for me by my licensees for this collection…….Everything looks FRESH, CLEAN and TIMELESS!
There’s something so effortlessly chic about the crisp contrast of navy and white, especially when it’s paired with thoughtful details like a cowl neck or pirate sleeves. It’s fascinating to hear how accessories were custom-made for the collection—it really highlights how much care went into every look.
Hi Louis!
Navy & white has always said the perfect summer combo.
BUT your designs were unbeatable, so beautiful in their quality & affordability!
Best regards, Irene
