“THE DARK REEF GREEN BOUCLE CARDIGAN & SCARF”

Holiday bracelet 20132

The second color available in the BOUCLE CARDIGAN, A239320 & SCARF, A239322 is the ………….DARK REEF GREEN…….a very SOUTH WESTERN or TROPICAL color. In the mood of the South West I have chosen to pair the two pieces with my CAMEL POSH KNIT TANK, A238525 and my camel pant, A236146, in the reg. length, and A236147, in the petite length. As you can see from the photo above, the cardigan looks great belted also. This color combination is the perfect backdrop for South Western jewelry or any ethnic jewelry you may own. The necklace above is from Morocco……….. All WHITE or all BLACK would also be great choices to wear under this DK. REEF GREEN color……………….scroll down……………………………………………enjoy…………….much Love……………………Louis

OK – here I go again – both the Cardigan & Scarf in this Dark Reef Green 🙂 I’m reminded time and again how grateful we are for the time you take with this blog so we can order before the rush! Thank you!

Tropical, do I hear a uke in the background? I’m feeling island breezes! Love, love, love this color. Such attitude in this boucle. Is this color close to the sea green Kate shirt and Ponte?

Wish I had more green turq, but emeralds, uh huh.

I thought they might be close, but when I put them next to each other they are very different. The D.R.G. Is much greener.

Still absolutely gorgeous…maybe with my new taupe shell and a white jean?

        Ciao, Lou

I intend to wear this as pictured with my camel posh knit tank and the camel pants (I already have both of them). Wish I had the necklace.

That Moroccan pendant is beautiful!! Love how it was paired with the neutral camel top and the open greenish cardigan over it.

You know us well, Louis. Many of your Linea Ladies own a lot of ethnic jewelry, I’d wager. I just stated something on the forum the other day about pieces I still have from Brentano’s when they carried jewelry as well as books. Of course, I have much from Greece, Turkey and Italy, not to mention other countries that create jewelry with that exotic flavor. I love that you have shown here some pieces you’ve collected in your travels. They give a new dimension to your classic clothing. That palm frond necklace has opened the floodgates of creativity. Dark reef green lends itself to color, too.

p.s. I should have added that I have a cuff with silver bells (?) hanging off it all the way around. The dangling bells are a bit shorter than the ones on this necklace but more or less the same. Perhaps that bracelet was Moroccan in origin. If something was exotic and dramatic, it always took my eye — no matter what it was.
