Should have listened to you, Louis. I ordered and received the S skirt and it was too big; today I ordered it in XS which, I think will be perfect. I loved the outfit so much that I ordered it in black, also. Looking forward to the shows.

Totally excited about this new fabric, and the shorter skirt!!!! Is it as hot weather friendly as the rayon/span and Feather Jersey?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I would think so…the feather jersey is lighter, but it’s like the rayon/span

How would this top look under the new navy jacket A259102?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I think the tops would fight each other….totally different silhouettes.

I love this top in navy and in black but wonder if one is pear-shaped, does it “blouse out” too much and accentuate that? I also love the skirt but am debating if it is too short for me. So thankful for your great photos because the ones on QVC often are not showing the best of the garments or the jewelry.

I think it depends what size pear you are. It can also disguise. It’s the same idea as many women who are large hipped won’t wear a full skirt because they think it makes them bigger, but a full skirt actually hides the hip. You can’t tell what is the skirt and what is the hip. Of course this top isn’t a full skirt and it does drape down. I think you are your own best judge. Try to visualize yourself in it. I know it will look great on Maria, but Maria, even though she is a L-XL, she is well proportioned.

I wasn’t planning to order this set because the skirt is too short for me, but this navy top is too good to miss! Such a cool look with jeans. I can’t wait to try the new fabric, too. Thank you, Louis, for continuing to blend classic and new in your designs for us.

Maia….you won’t be disappointed with your decision…..it’s a fabulous stand alone top, and the navy will look great with so many things besides jeans….a pair of white dress pants is going to look amazing with it too.

I wonder how the navy would look with your white slim leg jeans and the white fish necklace – sort of a nod to nautical. Hmmmmm. I love our navy and am always looking for more navy bottoms from you. Thank you for this skirt!

I meant silver fish necklace, not white. By the way, I’d love to see you do an anchor pendant on a long chain. Consider that a request.

      1. Julia

Oh goodness. My typos. I meant “your” navy not our.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Julia think no more….they will look GREAT together…the Silver fish has a blue eye…perfect…..and if I may suggest the enameled chain link watch looks great with these pieces too
