As many of you know who were able to watch my show yesterday…..the LEATHER BLAZER was added onto the show at the last minute…so…I really wasn’t prepared to show it on the models the way I had planned. It was initially scheduled to be on the 18th….but as I always say….”Men make plans and God laughs”…………..The pictures were taken and the collages were ready, so I’m certainly not going to waist them……here they are…….
Above, is the luggage leather…..Some were afraid it might be too orange or pumpkin….it is not. It’s a true luggage or peanut brittle color. I absolutely love this color with any of your traditional Fall colors….two being….Hunter green and Aubergine, as seen above…..The Hunter Green version, on the left, has my Hunter Green TN, coming soon, and my Hunter Green WK pant. Since the Black is almost completely sold out, I know the sizes of the Hunter Green and the DARK NAVY will start to go next. With the H.G. I have chosen to accessorize with my DEMI-HOOPS in GOLD, which have been reordered, and two of my GOLD HORSE BIT NECKLACES, J288018, which are still avail. I love the simplicity of the Horse Bit necklace because it just looks classy, and I love CLASSY….NOTICE the HUNTER GREEN SCARF worn over her shoulder to complete “THE LOOK”….coming soon…………….For the AUBERGINE combination I have the new WK AUBERGINE SKIRT, A237412…..I would not hesitate too long deciding on this skirt….ESPECIALLY now that AUBERGINE DYED TO MATCH TIGHTS are AVAIL! Thank you for posting your styling photos! It’s exciting to see your vision for the garment, and this Luggage Tan color is so versatile. I have the Tarragon and would probably not have thought to pair it with the Hunter Green. The original gold ball necklace is a favorite, so am eagerly awaiting the new version. I was so disappointed when you prototyped the gunmetal, but the buyers never ordered; it should be smashing with the Luggage Tan. It looks like my WK pants in all three colors will arrive about the same time as the Luggage Tan jacket. I guess the Christmas in July sales overpowered the Linea shipping.

Fabulous show as always. Do you think the Luggage Leather will look okay with the black lace print top and black ponte pants, the new style?
Dear Cela….I tried them on my form….I didn’t think I would like it, but I do. Even though there is no luggage color in the print…the print is neutral enough with the black bottom that it works. The luggage becomes an accent color as if you were wearing a red jacket over it, but you chose a more neutral accent color…With accessories to high light the luggage it will look great…..HOWEVER, the top is LONGER than the jacket so just know that. If that bothers you…you could always wear a black belt and blouse the top a little.
Thanks, Louis. It doesn’t bother me at all. I’ll start looking for a bag and scarfs with the luggage color so I can be ready to pull outfits together. I think I’d also love the luggage with a black WK scarf.
I missed the luggage turtle neck, but if you are thinking of another sleeveless mock color, I’d love one in luggage, along with a WK pant. Ha, ha. I did order the hunter and navy, though.

No worries, if I had been keeping up, I’d know that, but, if you get a notion…please reorder that sleeveless mock neck in “Luggage”. I love the feel of the Leather Jacket’s rib knit sleeves next to my bare arms. ANY fall colors in the mock would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

Dear Carol….you may not be able to review it again but you can always let the ladies know on the Linea Forum. I do not like the nutmeg with the luggage. The luggage needs more contrast and the nutmeg is a miss match…they just aren’t wonderful together…..wine navy charcoal, hunter green…all look good.
I will be giving anyone who wants to hear it my take on the luggage jacket! I’m so happy with it. The comfort of this jacket is just amazing. It’s an outerwear piece for me here in So Cal.
I have received my luggage tan jacket and it’s a real beauty. I’ve already reviewed that jacket in the original colors, so can’t add another, but this, along with the berry, are my two favorites of this style. I’m thinking of pairing it with nutmeg. What do you think of that?
