……………………This Memorial Day, like all others, we will honor all of the men and women who have fought and given their lives to keep this nation free since this great country was created……This Memorial Day is also a special one….It is the first Memorial day, hopefully the last, that we are living through this pandemic……However, not all of us have been so lucky. So, today I will also be remembering those who have fought on the front lines….the Warriors of the pandemic, and those who have lost the battle fighting for all of us to survive…………………………God Bless them all

…………………….The “TONGA” shells look like they were carved right out of an Abalone……Each of the twelve shells has a slightly different shape and they will slightly vary in color….as nature made them. They are hung from a delicate GOLD CHAIN, but in between each shell is a small gold bead to separate each shell so they hang properly. ………..One of my most popular tops is the Ombre tunic…….For many years now I keep adding one or two new colors. After at least 10 versions I wondered what color I could possibly do to make it look different enough from the others…….After reviewing all of the different color ways I have already done it became very apparent that I have never done a Black and White top……The top above was achieved with just one color BLACK……All of the grey areas are created by a screen, not a grey dye. Sometimes the way something turns out can be a big surprise!……What can make a wonderful top even more glamorous……fabulous accessories!…..The Black and White Masaai Necklace, Earring and Coil Bracelet look like they were made for this top. The Black, White and Grey in the Massai group work perfectly with the colors of the top. With my 20th Anniversary here, and thinking of all the wonderful people I have meet over the last 20 years…..there are some names and women that I haven’t heard from in a long time….One name that popped into my head was Blinddogs. She used to post quite often, and then silence…. Does anyone communicate with her? I remember her love for green, and she would buy anything I did in green. I will always be grateful to her because she was one of the strongest voices who brought me back to QVC. There was also a lovely lady from Alaska who was a real fashionista. She had a wonderful sense of style, and liked to be on the edge…..It’s been so long I can’t remember her name. Are there women that you remember who haven’t been heard from in a long time. I sometimes think of them and wonder where they are, and hope they are well.
