“Sneak Peek #8” is filled with goodies! The two items that I will be writing about are the A216528, the BRUSHED COTTON BLAZER, and the A3825, the CREW NECK SWEATER. Both of these items are REORDER ITEMS, and have been very popular. They both share some of the same  reasons for their popularity….such as being……..CLASSIC………COMFORTABLE……….SEASON-LESS.

A216528, the brushed cotton jacket is avail in three colors……BLACK……OLIVE…..and the new…..PEACOCK…… The black and olive are true neutral colors and can be worn with almost anything. The peacock, as with Peacock feathers is a BLUE/GREEN. Some think it is more green, but when you put it next to a true green….the blue in the color is very apparent. However you see it, the color is RICH and SATURATED, and any photo taken does not do it justice! All three jackets have gunmetal trims….buttons and zippers. The GUNMETAL works wonderfully with all of the new Linea jewelry that will be coming in both the gunmetal and SILVER combinations. Already avail. is the chain hoop earring in both the silver and gunmetal. I will also be introducing my first “WATCH” in Aug. that will also be avail in  BURNISHED GUNMETAL and BURNISHED ROSE GOLD. It is very unique and very different from anything I have seen on QVC……They  also work perfectly with this entire group of clothing…..You will just have to wait for the sneak peek…..but I will say…… it definitely as an ethnic flair. All three jackets are beautifully lined. The sleeves have three WORKING BUTTONS….so…if the sleeve is a little long for you….you can turn them back where there is a FULL FACING. QVC describes them as SEMI-FITTED, but I would say they are FITTED jackets compared with others I have done…..I think that is also one of the main reasons they are so popular….they give you a great shape, and they look great CLOSED and OPEN. If you haven’t bought one previously and you are thinking about getting one now….be sure to check the click here measurements, and read all the “comments” posted by the women who already own one…or two…or now….three……I think they will be very helpful to you. I know many of you have already received your jackets and have already posted your comments. For those of you who are on the fence…..don’t wait too long or you may have to wait another year.

A3825, is the CLASSIC SHORT SLEEVED, CREW NECK sweater. What has made this very simple sweater such a success is….the fit…..the softness of the cotton blend yarn……..and the easy care factor. ……it is the perfect layering piece and it is also beautiful on it’s own. The new colors are PEACOCK, and yes it will work with the peacock blazer as well as being a terrific accent to many thinks you already own…..like the paisley Boho skirt. The photos above will give you an idea of how it can work into your wardrobe……..and PALE OLIVE, which also works with many things you already own. It’s a soft color and has a 50’s VIBE……..definitely a little retro. It works wonderfully well with navy, camel, gray, burgundy, brown, dark olives [photo above of the dark olive blazer with the pale olive sweater and the pale olive herringbone pant], cream and ivory and many many more. Of course, it is perfect with the new pale olive herringbone suit too. These are sweaters you just keep collecting, and with each new collection, you will find new ways of combining them.

There are many little tidbits in the photos above….the reorder crew neck sweater cardigan, A217983, in the new TARRAGON color. The KNOT NECKLACES in the GOLD, SILVER and GUNMETAL, which will be avail. in two lengths……..the new BAROQUE CROSS, which will be avail in GOLD/BLACK, GOLD /BORDEAUX, and GOLD/ TARRAGON. Also in the photo is the new BAROQUE STATION NECKLACE, which has double sided carved stations in different shapes with enamel on both sides.  Spaced through out the necklace are smooth oval beads to match the enamel colors. This necklace will be offered in the same colors as the Baroque cross….Black, Bordeaux, and Tarragon. Naturally, I love them all worn together along with the knot necklace in gold and the up coming multi cross necklace in gold…..it looks like a million dollars…..and really…..a runway designer look. The new BYZANTINE BEADS and the BYZANTINE CROSS are in inventory and are ready for ordering. The reviews on the new bead necklace have ALL been STELLAR and it is a gorgeous and extremely useful addition to your LINEA  jewelry collection……for me…..a MUST HAVE……………………………………………………………..ENJOY……..much Love, Louis

“Sneak Peek #7 is the “Kate Shirt”, A214116. For those of you who are new to Linea. The “Kate” shirt is my answer to the perfect man tailored shirt. The fabric is cotton/span. The colors are the returning CHAMBRAY BLUE……WHITE……and the new PALE OLIVE. The fine twill cotton shirting was made exclusively for me because I could not find one in the “open market” that I liked…. they were either too thin, too stiff,  or too heavy. The telling is in the WHITE shirt….it is pure luxe. What also separates this shirt is the details…..from the extended tab on the cuff sleeve to the collar stays, which you only find in mens shirts………no CURLING collar points. The shape is all woman with body darts to give just enough shape without being tight. In the photo’s above you will see the ALL AMERICAN LOOK of the IVORY CREPE BLAZER with GLEAMING GOLD BUTTONS….the BLUE CHAMBRAY shirt, and the all American JEANS…..for me it’s a look no European runway can beat and many emulate. Please notice the LINEA GOLD CHAIN NECKLACES and the LINEA GOLD CHAIN HOOP, which happens to be Jac’s favorite new earring!! She wears them every chance she gets. They are also avail in SILVER……GUNMETAL……and ROSE GOLD. You have all seen the new Pale Olive shirt over the Chili Pepper Boho……a simple but fabulous way to look. I have also pictured the P.O. shirt over the OLIVE MOCK NECK, A217630 and worn under the new Pale Olive Herringbone jacket. Also notice in the lower left photo the NEW OLIVE KNIT PENCIL skirt, A09484. I was suppose to bring it to you last year, but due to late deliveries that were quoted to us….it never happened…..so here it is….better late than never. Last but certainly not least is the most important WHITE SHIRT. As far as I am concerned you can never own enough white shirts. You should have some that you launder for every day wear and some that you dry clean for when you want that crisp professional look……..If there was ever a Louis Dell’Olio ‘LOOK’…. it is definitely the center photo……..the STONE HERRINGBONE SUIT with the WHITE SHIRT……accessorized with silver chain hoops and a black croco belt…….pure….. Hepburn…….Lombard……..Dietrich….they all knew how to wear a pair of trousers and a blazer with great elan. I sincerely hope I can continue to bring you what I consider the NUMBER ONE ESSENTIAL………much Love, Louis

I thought you deserved another look at the BOHO IN ALL THE COLORS available…….the BLACK…..OLIVE…..MOCHA…TAUPE ……CHILI PEPPER. ….especially for those who are new to LINEA. Please notice the straw shirt/jacket over the olive and the white safari georgette shirt over the mocha. The sage safari shirt looks great over the olive Boho too [not pictured]. I thought I would show you the C.P boho simply, with just an ivory/off white tank, a black belt and some jewelry. The taupe is with the black crew neck which is now avail along with the Pale Olive and the new Peacock…..a perfect transition look and the black boho I have photographed two ways. 1- with a black tank tucked in…a quiet  sexy look….maybe not so quiet….  2-a SNEAK PEEK at what is coming this fall………….I will only say the IVORY turtle neck is the new ivory reorder of the silk/cashmere. My lips are sealed about the jacket so don’t bother asking….LOL

This is a reminder more than a sneak peek. With all the jewelry that I accessorize the clothes with…..some of it unfortunately is not available. With the new scarf tops and the new solid colors of Chili Pepper, Straw, Peacock etc…..I wanted to show you in the photos above how well the MULTI COLOR BYZANTINE BEADS, J267612,  look with everything. The BYZANTINE CROSS, J264036, is back in stock, and looks fabulous with all the paisleys too. Also, the BYZANTINE EARRING, J267611, which many of you own, also works beautifully with this July group of clothing…………….more sneak peeks to come……much Love, Louis
